Now back in present time when MC is with FMC, MC was working part time, akari appeared out of nowhere and requested MC to have conversation. They moved to nearby cafe, there she begged him to start over. He asked what happened with masato to which she replied that masato is dating another girl. MC noticed that her arrival was too suspicious, so he asked her whether she was pregnant. She lost the colour in her eyes and declined it while trembling. MC became convinced of his suspicious and rejected her. She persisted but he left (apparently, she was pregnant with masato and masato told her to impose the child on MC).

when MC and akari became couple, she also started hanging out with them. At first, she perceived MC as normal but MC helped her on multiple time, she fell for him. She had inferiority complex toward her sister so, she teamed up with masato to break MC and akari apart so that she could date MC. After the break-up, MC started dating her. After certain time, MC met masato in park where he started ridiculing him and boasted about how he is having fun with his pet "akari" everyday. He told him how he along with mizunami tricked him and stole everything from him. MC became shocked and went to meet mizuha. There after confirming the truth, he broke up with her. After that point, MC stopped trusting anyone.

Akari believed masato's lie on face value and started affair with him. They started having dates. Once akari was in masato's room, there masato took her v**ginity with her consent. After s*x, he told her that everything he said was a lie. Akari broke and started regretting, she then told him not to get involve with her anymore. Masato then showed her a voice recorder which recorded everything that happened between them. He then blackmailed her with the voice recording and told her to become his pet unless she wanted MC to know everything. She then followed his every command and they started having s*x every day. All this time, he and mizunami were working together. He handed some of voice recording to mizunami which she used in order to reveal everything to MC.

During high school, she spotted MC kissing mizunami and accused him of cheated on akari (this happened just after mizunami presented him the voice recorder) and compared him to his mother. MC couldn't hold anymore and slapped her, she fell on the ground and satrted crying. They never spoke again. Later when MC was already with FMC, he spotted yui kissing a girl in a nearby park.
