After conquering the world, I realized.

Come to think of it, was this originally an Adult game?

Someone wrote a HOI4 anime novel...I don't even know what to say. And trust me it is a HOI4 anime novel, it has it all, civilian economy, full mobilization, reducing conscription laws, the works. It is just that, the author is really bad at writing (and is also a bad player/noob).

The novel is unbelievably cringe, let's get that out of the way. The protagonist is the regular Gary Stu you would expect from Korean web novels—kind, caring, none of the mu*der is his fault, etc, etc. I mean god forbid... more>> our MC might have some negative qualities, how would the reader self-insert into that!?

Like, let me give you examples, he conquered the Elves, and now the eleven are rebelling, so he thinks that he should use the elven princess to establish a puppet state... and completely invalidate his conquest by giving them very good autonomy. But the princess falls for our MC so it is alright! (Sarcasm) Also, let me clarify, yes he is right in establishing a puppet government according to the game (HOI4), the issue is that this government would be very autonomous and practically independent. And here is the other problem, the elven people are not ret*rds, just like the Poles after the Russian collapse and the treaty Brest-Litovsk during world war one, they would see the government for what it is, a sham—they would rebel harder, regardless of the autonomy, why? People would hate to be under the rule of the Empire that killed their Army, you know, the Army filled with the brothers, husbands, fathers and friends of the local people.

Now, in this world, you would expect that since it is based on armies and conquest then there would be no super-strong-one woman-army who would fall in love with our hero. Well, you would be dead wrong, cuz there is a woman, a princess who is just that and who conveniently was disfigured and our MC conveniently has the only antidote! Amazing!

Yeah, don't read this. It's garbage.

The Author genuinely is very very naive if he thinks any of what he has shown in this novel is remotely relevant or realistic.

It's interesting, the MC ran out of content after conquering the whole world and thirsty for more, and thr galge aspects of this game is the answer. Then again, it's bothering me why the MC suddenly feels special about the heroines and vice versa. I'm not very fond if its because of fate

The MC conquered the world for fun but why is he talking like there is some hidden lore... well we only got to see him after the world conquest so who knows when did he transferred as the... more>> king? maybe there is indeed something <<less

Kingdom building ruler, but it's a slightly odd format.

The kingdom building is based on a game like system but it'd sometimes gloss over the details and execution. I think this story is more about the girls at heart.

Surprisingly quick to the punch with this one. It's an interesting premise. I'm impressed by what they've done in just 6 chapters. Might very well be a great story in here.

Too early to tell, but a promising tone, I like the notion laid out.
