As the translator, my review might be biased. Sorry about that.

I have loved 'Hyperventilation' ever since I first came across its animation and manhwa, so imagine my delight when I found the novel - and it certainly didn't disappoint!

저수리 (author of 'Semantic Error') once again delivers a heartwarming BL story, this time expanding upon what 뿡빵뀨 has already perfected. Both past and present get explored, including school life and adult careers (and a look into the world of Go), which gives more context to the existing story and makes the... more>> characters more dimensional. Especially Seonho, the "perfect man" full of confidence, isn't always as he seems. Myeong, too, isn't as passive and meek as one might think. Speaking of characters, more are introduced in the novel, and they all influence the story and its dynamics. I have grown particularly fond of Jeong, Myeong's sister.

I don't wish to give away too much, so I think I'll end my review by saying this - while adaptions oftentimes take away from the original, this novel does 'Hyperventilation' justice and is a neat treat for old and new fans alike. The romance hasn't been cheapened but rather deepened with added layers not shown in previous versions. So please, give this a try and fall in love with 'Hyperventilation' once again. I know I did.

This story has great narration. I was happy when I saw how the author narrated the story. The translation is also good. However, I don't particularly like that it is in Google drive because I'm not fond of gdrive. (Not a big deal but I'm having a hard time reading in Google drive. It's taking me a long long time to finish reading the translation)

Anyway, I'm still waiting for more translation.

But based on the previous chapters I read, I can say this story is promising. I even watched the... more>> manhwa edition of this novel and even watched the animation.

I have been a fan of hyperventilation for several years now and it's one of the few manhwa that I return to time and time again. I honestly can't say what it is that I find so special about them given than the manhwa is so short and doesn't get a chance to flesh out the characters. It's why I'm so happy that this is getting translated - and by such a talented translator! You've done an excellent job and I really appreciate the footnotes!!
