MC is essentially a transmigration retiree (aka reincarnation in this story) and went to modern earth to retire. But Earth's karma is messed up because of good people being punished and bad people getting rewarded. So Earth protection is breaking down allowing for monsters to enter and rebalance humanity. MC is pretty hands off and only interfered at the beginning and other times to teach people how to deal with the demons. He military and the friends he made are the ones fighting.

There's always a small joke every chapter that drags the story and it was funny at first until it happened too often. The joke is usually a person says/acts weird that makes everyone around them speechless.

The story is already very lighthearted and doesn't need the constant comedy acts. So the jokes just disrupt the plot and makes me wish the author deleted them in their draft. <<less
