If she could start over again, she definitely wouldn’t treat that person as the only salvation in her life—thought Tang Yu as she lied in the cold and dark bas**ent.

When Tang Yu opened her eyes again, she saw her long-deceased parents and herself returning to her childhood.

This time, Tang Yu no longer wished to have any more contact with that person. She only wished for her parents to live. But…why is that person so persistently clinging to her?!

“Let’s go to school together!”

Tang Yu: No, go away.

“I heard from my mom that once you get married to someone, you can be with that person forever. Let’s get married!”

Tang Yu: No, go away.

“Tang-Tang, your voice is so nice. Can you speak some more?”

Tang Yu: Get los—mmhm?! You scoundrel!

It's an okay read.

Spoiler

The FL was good in MC's second life, but the thing I don't like is how FL never really remembered that she did wrong by MC in their first life... Only getting compulsions to do better. It didn't sit right with me because the MC kept on placing the blame on someone who didn't do anything wrong in this next life. The author did write MC to finally realize the previous FL's difference to the current FL.

At some point after this, it kinda got weird and boring. There were filler scenes and couples that I didn't really care about nor did they matter in whatever relationship the main couple had. Also, the author didn't seem like they knew how to build up or explain how MC went back to the past.

Just to comment about the 1-star review I read here about the bullying, I didn't mind the MC getting bullied by children. She wasn't all that bothered until they sent her worms (which was her weakness). If I think about being bullied as an adult in a child's body, I'd most likely ignore the bullying too. They're kids, why would I take them seriously and why should I bother disciplining them, they're not my responsibility. That's probably what the MC thought when she was experiencing this.

The story so far is good.

Tang Yu is a reserved girl who had lost her family. Yin Zhao is a strong assertive girl who promised to take care of Tang Yu but took her for granted and wasn't there when Tang Yu needed her most. Then after Tang Yu's death she regressed and woke up as a kid again with her memories of the future. She notices Yin Zhao acts differently and values Tang Yu much more this time around.

Spoiler

Yin Zhao seems to act as if she has information from the future but it isn't clear if she also regressed yet.

The story does a decent job at showing a realistic regressor. She doesn't blend in with children while having the mind of an adult. And while she tries to solve issues, things don't go to her plan as if she's an expert mastermind. It ends up feeling realistic.

Spoiler

Tang Yu has the mind of an adult and doesn't connect to the kids around her leading to her being isolated. And sees their subsequent bullying as childish and ignores it. Though it's questionable if an adult wouldn't handle that better and report it before it went as far as it did.

Tang Yu spends her time focusing on how to overcome her parents deaths without letting anyone notice something strange. I thought it was too "Mary Sue" for her to encrypt files to leave where her father would find them, but she does get caught quickly for a mistake while doing so.

The setting isn't unique but the execution is done well and has a cute relationship between the two girls. <<less

This protagonist is always wants to be pitiful. I mean you regressed back in your childhood but what did you do? Got bullied by children!? How pathetic can you be!? I can't continue reading when the protagonist doesn't learn.

Translation: Great!

The story is the kind that does not reveal everything at once, and even with the info it reveals over time the reader have to connect the dots too. It's the kind of story you'll have to read for a time before you get the big picture. And this makes things interesting.

The story is a story about redemption, healing and a 2nd chance. (Not to mention Yuri!).

I won't spoil anything, but if the reader pays attention and remember the various events throughout the story they'll realise the true circumstances... more>> which is easy to miss when one first starts reading the novel. You gotta connect the dots.

Spoiler

Something easy to miss is that the reason Zhao An takes Tang Yu for granted is that An is unaware that girls can have romantic relationships and thus takes Tang Yu as a friend\sister. An also makes the mistake of getting addicted to an online game and thus partly neglect Tang Yu and overlooks\misses Yu's stomach issues. At the end of the first lifetime it's obvious that Zhao An treasures Tang Yu, but when she comes to realisation its sadly too late. Tang Yu herself does NOT hate or dislike Zhao An, she just doesn't want to make what she see's as a futile effort to befriend Zhao An again only to end up falling in love and getting hurt yet again. Tang Yu had a tough life in the first lifetime afterall.

I want to say more, but I think the readers should discover this on their own. Learning the characters, story and plottwists without the novel spoonfeeding it to you is one of this Novels strong points.

One of the few novels that really captivated my interest from the start. Usually I can't read novels that have a lot of chapters because I lose motivation to finish but this one is an exception.

Not only did it make me read to the up-to-date chapter in like a week, it also made me look forward to more.

The translation is excellent as always by Hellscythe, but the writing of the story also manages to crave for more without feeling overwhelming, as the chapter length is not much. So it is... more>> to no surprise that I recommend this story wholeheartedly, though you might want to wait for the translation to finish first or else you might find yourself in the same spot as me suffering with waiting for updates.

Without spoiling too much, the story is about a reborn girl trying to change the course of fate, trying to stay away from the source of her death and doing things "better" in the new life.

While doing so we see a lot of character development and growth which is done really well in this story.

We also get more side characters later, which are actually very supportive of the main protagonist's relationship and don't interfere with the main couple much.

Spoiler

The one lesbian side character who's fierce on the outside but actually very innocent on the inside also managed to make me ask for more. What's a bit surprising for me was the supernatural element later on, which totally doesn't fit into the story and world but let's see how things will go with them. I also don't mind the r*pe-y nature of their first encounter that much, it adds a bit of spiciness to it, like a hate-love relationship or enemies-to-lovers but not quite being that.
