In the wake of a war, Dominic, a young orphan haunted by memories of a previous life as a nutritionist, embarks on a quest to find a place to call home. However, his inadvertent revelation of his past-life knowledge leads to a reputation as a charlatan, leaving him adrift in a world that refuses to embrace his unique abilities.

Fortune takes a turn when he stumbles upon a remote fishing village, home to retired mercenaries who offer him a rare and open-hearted welcome, devoid of judgment. Drawing on his culinary talents, Dominic introduces the villagers to an array of diverse cuisines, nurturing a profound sense of unity among them.

As fate would have it, the village’s chief confides in Dominic about his illiteracy and passes on his leadership responsibilities. Embracing the opportunity, Dominic steps into this newfound role, determined to transform the village into a thriving community. Through a harmonious blend of culinary expertise and compassionate leadership, he embarks on an inspiring journey to bridge divides, creating bonds among the villagers in the most unexpected of settings.

This is a heartwarming tale of acceptance, the extraordinary power of reincarnation, and the remarkable ability of food to transcend boundaries, forging connections where none seemed possible.

Firstly, excellent translation. The translators put in a lot of effort to make sure the story is easily readable.

Although I'm not a total fan of the MC, I like that the author clearly knows a lot about the subject matter of the story (nutrition).

One of the criticism I have for the work is that the world building needs work. The premise of the story is that the MC wants to make the fishing village better, but only other character in the entire village is even named. There's no information even... more>> about the size of the village. <<less
