1. caelius later is like "aa she used to love me im so sad" and aria is like "i used to s*upidly pine after him" but the issue is both are not only thinking of this in terms of their past life, but also this life. essentially saying aria was hopelessly in love in this life as well which.. was not the case? she was just super scared of him and would try to butter him up but I think the author forgot LOL

2. it's clearly stated she could use the special royal ring in the last life. she can't in this life but I assumed it's because she used up all her royal powers turning back time. that's retconned (???) and somehow she's not his biological daughter anymore? did the author just write the first half of this novel, forget about it for 2 years, and then come back to it without reading the first half?

3. the author tries to say that aria is pregnant... literally right after she's spent a bunch of chapters being heavily addicted to drugs that would've killed her. the f*ck? the child's going to come out with 10 legs and 2 toes and no one even mentions it. it's fine because she loses the kid later on but at least say smth in passing

4. the writing style falls off a cliff. idk if it's the translator but it's so ahh. it's just: caelius was sad. caelius walked around. he was really sad. "ah, riri..." still, he could not help but be sad. he was going to his room. there, he would be sad again.

5. at the end, she just goes back to being bubbly? like it's that easy? ermmmmm seems tew simple

• The male lead makes the female lead suffer on purpose.
• He only cares about himself and his throne. Even with the excuse that he loves her, the truth is he loves himself far more than he could ever love her.
• He physically hurts her just because she interacts with other men. That’s serious.
• He brings home another daughter, claiming she’s his illegitimate child, without even talking to her first—and then he tries to blame her for it.
• He mistreats her to the point where she attempts su*cide. The only moment he actually feels fear is when he realizes he might lose her.
• Throughout the entire novel, he doesn’t see anyone as a human being—not even her.
• He becomes exactly like everything he fought against, just like his father. (I wish I were kidding.)
• He doesn’t care about her happiness—all that matters to him is that she stays by his side and carries his child.

  Even though the pregnancy is risking her life, he refuses to let her go. Her body literally can’t even keep itself alive.

• Then, suddenly, when he gives up everything to be with her, nothing else matters anymore? That’s bullshit. The problem was never the situation—it was him. And it will always be as long as he’s around.
• He is so selfish that I was rooting the whole time for her to escape, to find happiness, to lose the child (when she did, I almost opened a bottle of champagne—but things didn’t even get much better). At that point, I was cheering for her to run away, or even die—anything would be better than ending up with him.
