I actually quite like this. I’m not sure why the rating is so low. Yes, it’s fairly generic, but the Mx is pretty well written. It avoids a lot of the things I can get annoyed by, like marrying your past life abuser. She even doesn’t immediately get over her PTSD. She hasn’t yet, at least.

So I tried to like this story but the MC kept irritating me...?

I don't know if it's that you can tell she was spoiled or if it's because she's too impulsive, but I just can't appreciate her character.

She's a cry baby, which ok, I get it you loved the man who betrayed you. And ok you can't get over how you died. Makes sense. BUT YOU WANT TO BE A SPY?!? YOU CAN'T EVEN HIDE YOUR D*MN EMOTIONS!!! ?

And while she is growing slowly becoming stronger, she keeps harping on sh*t that makes me want to slap her. Almost every bad situation she encounters, she put herself in. And her silly ideas and antics... too immature. But that goes back to her spoiled character ?

I'm tired of waiting for her to grow stronger. It's a slow process which wouldn't bother me so much if the rest of the story was worth it. But it isn't. NEXT! ? <<less

I like this one. The ML is decent, the FL can be naive but I don't dislike her. The main characters interactions are always interesting and the plot is good too. I can't wait to read more...

I tried so hard to like it. But the MC's naiveness and being gullible is starting to irk me to no end. It's like she was never betrayed in the first place. She's very gullible in terms of trusting people she thinks looks weaker than her or people that she's have known for a long time. It got to me when she got annoyed at the emperor kept reminding her not to be too trustful because he can easily see her faults. She mentioned that it's like someone closest to... more>> him betrayed him. Why, you don't say? That reminds me of someone that I can't put my finger on that should take the same advice... I don't care that she's weak and was coddled, but she seems not up to par with her opponents in terms of maliciousness. I can see why she was betrayed in her prior life and never suspected a thing.

I might come back to it when I'm desperate for something to read, but I'm going to drop it for now. <<less
