I mean. It's not terrible. Not the best thing I've ever read either, but not the worst thing.

The thing I like about QT stories are usually the easy to consume arcs that don't stretch unnecessarily long. As a result, I'm able to read pretty much entire QT stories through to the end. There are some I've read that are well into the 4000 chapter area and I never got tired once (although I'll admit I'll skip an arc here or two if it's too boring).

I give a lot of leeway... more>> to QT stories. Typically, the romance is literally speed of sound fast because usually the overarching plot is that the two were destined for each other. So yeah, I can excuse the unrealistic romantic plots. The heroine is usually someone who comes from excellent background, and is adaptable in any situation. Right, that's fine too. Each arc usually varies, but it'll be anywhere from 30-100 or so chapters depending on content. That's fine too.

This QT story scratches most of my itches. I'm a sucker for the 'older brother' types so the title of this story intrigued me. I was a bit worried about the rating at first, but I decided to take the plunge anyways.

Like I said. Not bad, not great.

The translation is fine, and the translator has done good work imo.

I started with the translation and got to chapter 15 and felt as though some kind of major face slapping should be happening soon, with the MC shooting down the fiance and little three. But when I went to read the raws, I was kind of surprised to see that the arc was in the 70-80 chapter area.

In fact, most of the arcs for this QT story are in the 70-80 chapter area. This is both a blessing and a curse in this story.

Blessing because, admittedly, the plots are a bit more fleshed out I would say. The romance is still pretty quick despite these longer chapter arcs, but like I said, I can excuse that.

But... the problem is, the author includes a lot of s*upid filler that I personally believe isn't necessary. I like QT arcs because they usually cut the bullsh*t and just leave the good stuff. In this case, while some of the plots of the different arcs feel more thought out, each arc ultimately suffers as well because there seems to end up being s*upid filler in the middle. I'd prefer my drama and face-slapping to be fast in QT stories, but they end up a little too drawn out in this story.

Furthermore, although there are more chapter arcs, I have to say each chapter is quite short. To me, I feel like the author would have benefited more from longer, more thought out chapters rather than short chapters full of useless filler that bloated the arc to a 70-80 chapter length.

That being said, it's not horrible. For me, it's a story to pass the time when I'm kind of bored and wanna read something brain dead. If you've got nothing better to do, maybe try reading this story, but honestly there are better QT stories out there.

This was really... how to put it, plain. It's like a child telling a story that's not fully developed. MC enters the world and goes through original's life, which is rather boring (the counterattack was not that exciting), and the ending of each arc doesn't give you much insights or satisfaction either. She always leave once mission is finished, even in the middle of a proposal.

MC's a godly arrow that took on a heavenly form and fell in love with her adopted brother, the extremely disliked sun god who heaven wanted to kill the day he was born because ML threatens his powers.

MC came up with a plan to kill the heavenly Dao and she ended up being the arrow that shot the ML's nine forms down (ML hasten form, representing ten suns and I think MC was used to shoot down nine and su*cided on the tenth.

ML ended up waiting for her at the river of forgetfulness where souls incarnate until someone came and told him where MC's incarnation may be, so now he's chasing her.

Okay, I'm not sure how the only review on here is 1 star when the translator has just posted 2 chapters? There weren't any major issues with the translation quality. From what I saw, the translation was actually pretty well done, as are all of this TL's novels. The plot doesn't seem weird so far, and there hasn't been anything to get squicked out by yet, so, even though I haven't read past two chapters, I trust this TL enough to try to balance out the skewed rating.

The first few arcs are pretty mediocre, but it gets better. Some arcs are better than others.

I really like the final "explanatory" world. It's honestly a pretty incredible wrapup that weaves many Chinese myths together and forms a pretty compelling story. It's also interesting because afterwards the story switches to the ML's perspective.

Tbh I'm not a fan of how both parties fall so quickly, I personally love the pursuit stage of stories.

I don't like that ML always falls for MC very quickly, and he's also super powerful too. Fortunately, although... more>> he is a big golden finger for her, most of the tasks she actually accomplishes on her own. <<less

As much as I slightly like the first arc, I'm not gonna stick around reading arcs that has short chapter with like 70+ chapters per arc. And the introduction was misleading because the ml's didnt even show up that much, their romance was abrupt. This isnt my cup of tea

I can understand the disappointed person who rated this novel 1 star. The MC died miserably but she seems experienced with the system at first sight, already accepting it with cuddling. It's a little ridiculous.

But for the complete first chapter, I was glad to get to know how the MC suffered injustice, betrayal and died. For once, we have the real story of a raider and her reason are clear (usually it's unclear until half the novel or the last arc).

I guess that the author was just too rushing in her story and forget that the MC should have been first heartbroken and then startled to meet ithe "system" in her ghostly state.

The relationship between the MC and ML is also too rushed (first arc) and very unnatural. I feel really dissapointed. It's just copying the quick transmigration's style. I will try to go until the end of the first arc but at this point, I feel it's not worth it.
