Its not bad, the overall story is passable and there is nothing outright bad about this novel. But the devil is in the details because there is none. The entire story feels like a outline, no details are given about any of the small worlds which makes the characters victories feel somewhat empty. If it was fleshed out a bit more it would be fine more details about the worlds and the final boss. There is no point in the story that the main characters actually beat the final boss... more>> it just kind of vanishes. <<less

The general plot was okay, somewhat generic, but not boring imo as the author likes to include some mysterious subplots into each world so that the MC has to uncover/take down some schemes/masterminds. The opponents vary and the og. Protagonists are not always antagonists, although they are most of the time. So you can say that the variety keeps things fresh to an extent.

HOWEVER, as okay as the plot is, it is being dragged down by the stylistic choices that the author made. Sudden cutscenes are also common and... more>> very disorienting which already doesn't bode well for the novel as it disrupts the reading flow.

On top of that, most of the novel reads like a summary. Things happen off screen and the reader basically off-handedly gets told the aftermath or a general outline of what happened. This is especially true when it comes to the resolutions of conflicts/tensions which is anticlimactic and a letdown each and every time it happens. And the disappointment just keeps on accumulating until the very end. <<less
