Musker, the fiancé of the Marchioness Amelia, puts his childhood friend in the priority.

He proudly tells her that she is frail and he must help her.

Amelia is worried about her upcoming wedding.

Musker answers his childhood friend’s calls during all the important wedding conversations, including choosing the rings and the dress.

Amelia has finally given up on marrying him after seeing him like this.

However, when she asks Musker’s father to formally break the engagement, he makes her wait and asks for more time.

Musker’s brother Aaron, who had studied abroad for years, returned a month later and assured Amelia, “I swear I will make you happy. Please marry me.”

Amelia can only nod her head in perplexity at the confession of Aaron, whom she has long loved but given up on since he had another woman in his life.

It's not bad. Overall a good cliche story. It's just a bit confusing to follow who is doing what or saying what. Also, I kind of wish the ending would give us more of an idea what happens to everyone (ie "X worked in a mine and died of lung disease") instead of just leaving it as "X will be punished or abandoned"

It's a decent time pass, but little bland. Similar to vanilla pudding made with a sugar substitute; the main characters do make up pretty quickly and the miscommunications do get resolved but it's all a little unsatisfying.

Spoiler

I understand that I'm a bloodthirsty book reader out for revenge but the fact that years of emotional abuse and cheating was solved by cutting off an awful family and the two douchebags, sending them far away... it's a lame revenge.

The plot I think is 3/5, but the translation or the way it is written is so bad that I almost thought my eyes were the ones at wrong.

It's so bad that until now I don't know if it's 12 chapters due to each chapter being short or that the pacing is slow.

Other than that, this is a foolish yet fluffy romance story of two people getting played on to the point of almost missing each other.

There's also btw mention of GL but wasn't really put on spot.

This story felt like an extended oneshot because all the problems could be resolved in 1 to 3 chapters but the author decided to prolong it until 12 chapters. The story itself was a bit boring and so were the characters. But it's still okay to pass the time since it's only a short story.

Fairly cute fluffy story, miscommunications/disinformation resolved fairly fast and villain gets the boot at the end. Overall good story
