A certain man, for some reason, was reincarnated as the villainous noble, Jin Divinesword, in the immensely popular game “Brilliant Proof.”

As the second son of a renowned Swordmaster, Jin’s sword skills were anything but impressive, leading to his father’s disdain. To make matters worse, only death flags were waiting for him as the game’s antagonist.

However, the man reborn as Jin knew something– In place of talent for swordsmanship he had an unparalleled gift for magic that surpasses human imagination. Yet, he has no intention of exploiting his knowledge to seize power, nor does he desire to steal the game’s heroine away from the protagonist. All he desires is a peaceful life alongside his maid, Mea.

Yet, the course of the story doesn’t quite allow for such peace…

Embark on a journey into the world of this villainous aristocrat, as he longs for the tranquility of ordinary days with his loyal maid. Uncover the twists and turns that fate has in store for this unexpected hero.

The story is nothing but pure tr*sh. Protagonist is born with zero talent in swordsmanship. He is however a very talented Mage. No, he is the most talented mage of his world. By the time he joins the academy at the age of 15, he is already one of the strongest if not the strongest character. Yet, he still insists on getting beaten up like a weakling, just because. Loses the mock exam, just because. Getting humiliated every chapter, just because. Everyone insults him to his face even though he... more>> is a son of a duke. Tries to get rid of red flags by acting like a prick to strangers, only intensifying the rumors about him being a piece of sh*t. 0/10. After reading this story, I am convinced that the Japanese are mostly a bunch of masochists.

I've read up on the raws and I can be honest. The story is not bad but it's not good either. The concept is good but there's no exciting plot, no utilization of characters, no nothing. There's no point in anything. More rather like written thoughtlessly. This is rather a very short story, everything has been accomplished quickly. It's such a shame because I was hoping for at least an LN.

Maybe it's for the best, with the way JPs are these days you can only expect childish MCs. As for the previous reviewer RandomSwordThief@ I agree, we all hate those JPs but in this case, it only happened 3 times and it wasn't that bad! In fact, none of it was detrimental to MC. He's OP from the start.
    • The heroines showed high formidability at the beginning and immediately became s*upid in the next chapter. It's hard to keep up with the low IQ. It raised my expectations for nothing.
      Spoiler

This is highly confusing on many points, for example, Writer even hinted that Mea was probably fanning the flames of bad rumors.

        • It also hinted that Mea had a goal in mind in being MC maid before he was born in her POV.
        • And what is Hera connection with Mea?

I tend not to think about it and shrug it off. Most likely not important at all.

Anyways, I like the fact that only rumors were spread and actually helped MC stay lower-key. He's an OP Villain after all. (But again it was only a few chapters till he was exposed) In the end, the Author was not contradictory with the main character's object of loyalty to the heroine.

EDIT: It was explained later why she was his maid but it also made no sense at all. Now it feels like she only got with MC out reminder of her first love?
