Stayed up until 4 AM to finish this. It was an enjoyable read. Slightly questionable translation, but decent. Mediocre all the way around, a straight 3 stars. I will try avoid spoilers below.

This story is about two silly men loving each other unconditionally, thinking they know exactly what the other is thinking (they don't) or making wild assumptions and then adding to it randomly each time it gets brought up (I am looking at you MC, how come in his imagination the ML went from a simple hard working man... more>> coming to the city for work to an extremely poor man, with immigrant parents, from some kind of penurious unknown village?).

Not to mention, some things can come across as controversial. They aren't funny, just a question mark in why it was added, for example how impotency was called "inhumane" and how someone from an orphanage is not able to have parents.

My experience with this novel was the following: you start reading because you don't have anything better to do, but end up wanting to know how this is going to spiral into something bigger and when everything will come to light. You need to find out! So you invest in it WAY more of your time than this novel is worth, all of that just to finish it in one sitting.

Of course. The novel is not THAT amazing or memorable. Is it corny? Yes. Could the author have added more to it, especially to show their life as a proper couple? Yes, sad we don't see that. Did it get boring in places? Did it become too embarassing to read? To both: yes. BUT it can be a quick casual read for someone that likes parodies or wants to see two rich fools in love thinking the other is poor and trying to help each other financially.

It's incredible how in tune they are, but the execution and result of their plans end up completely different.

I, personally, honestly enjoyed the mutual pampering, the unequivocal love, the pure acceptance they had for each other and even falling more in love after the misunderstandings are cleared out. I want to read more novels where there is mutual chasing and spoiling, it's quite cute.

So do give it a try if you have time, just don't expect anything from it. It's really just a dumb little story that reminded me of the wackiness of a jdrama, the cringiness of a cdrama and the plot + misunderstandings of a kdrama. <<less

Okay to pass the time but it doesn't stand out compared to other stories of this genre. We don't really find out much about any of the characters, even MC and ML and everyone feels too blank, even MC and ML have only a few characteristics that define them and aren't portrayed in more detail. <<less

  • the MC & ML are so funny lmfao why their brain hole so big especially the MC WKWKWKWK his parents brain hole also very big no wonder its genetic kekekeke
  • basically MC & ML both be thinkin each other want to be each others gold backer and the other one is poor still yet they respect their boundaries and try to pamper each other basically we are being fed with an awfully big amount of dog food
  • like there is too much misunderstandings the last 5 chapters before them revealing to each other that both of them frm big family was kinda annoyin tbh cos like the misunderstanding was quite repetitive
  • other than that its a good one time quick read novel wkwkwkw

it's mostly crack -the MC and bl both have big brain holes so to follow along you should also throw your brain away-I meant that in a good -your face hurts from smiling way... At one point of time I was quite jealous of the ML, I also want to own several companies and leave them to their managers because I want to accompany my actor boyfriend to his shoot *sighs*

This story was also kinda soft.. cause although there's really no logic here -the MC and ML both go out... more>> of their way to accomodate to their partners 'circumstances' -it melted my heart

I LOVE THE MC - His character is my absolute favourite.I can never resist a snarky, perpetually h**ny, face loving con, adorable, wimpy guy. His brain circuit is built different and it's honestly amusing to see how his brain works. Whenever he sees a good looking guy, he opens up a hotel room !GAHAHAHHAHA <<less

This has got to be the funniest novel I've ever read.

I definitely don't like the whole misunderstanding trope but this one is laced with sugar and cutenesssss. Unlike others these misunderstandings don't lead to long winded angst or the couple having eachother, in fact it brings them closer and makes for amazing comedy.

MC has got to be the cutest bunny I've ever seen and the ML is such a sweetheart!!

It's very short but very wholesome, my only complaint is that there's no more to read.

Although cute and short the main misunderstanding of the story isn't satisfyingly resolved as it lasts a little too long and spends about 1 chapter at the very end resolving it. It is funny and intresting but just left a sour taste at the end as I personally was invested in their misunderstanding.

Absolutely hilarious and ridiculous comedy of 2 rich clowns who both thought they picked up a poor boy for them to spoil, when both of them are rich. These 2 jokers literally have misunderstandings built on misunderstandings and each of them get more and more ridiculous. MC is a up-and-rising actor while ML is an established big big boss. Its a good story but the misunderstandings pilled up and wasn't solved. The resolution for the main misunderstanding was solved in one chapter which is super rushed and a pretty big thing to be only squished into a single chapter.

Overall characters are cute, its funny how they're not in the same wavelength but somehow they still think the same. 😂😂😂
