meh. I really loved the premise but I've noticed when ever an author tries to tackle a sensitive and serious illness like depression they never can completely do it right or show an unrealistic/plausible reaction from those related.

If they wanted her to interact with her family they should not have locked her up in a separate building where her family who didn't care about her kept invading and disturbing her time... even once she found something she enjoyed.

I would have really loved this novel if they went about the family... more>> interactions in another way. It started off interesting with her being self aware and not changing too much but It also could have been less generic if they fully depicted her depression and gave more depth to the characters <<less

First update at 40 chapters: I don't know how this story will unfold, but for now, this a truly a webnovel worth reading.
Its about Violet, a girl or a "villainess" who decides to commit su*cide by drowning herself due to misery, but ends up getting her previous life's memory. This incident acts as a wake up call for her, showing her how wrongly shes been acting towards others, but most especially towards herself.
It's very heartbreaking, not because we are told the MC - Violet- is heartbroken, but because we can see her heart breaking. We saw it breaking and we can still see it breaking. Its not really sad, I mean I did shed tears once, and I wanted to shed tears more than once, but the story isn't angsty or sad just to be sad, the whole world isn't against her, although, it does feel like that, its only her world that's against her, and at times, that's the worst sort of torment.

Wow!! That's a lot of angst right there and I am all for it!!! I can't wait for that white lotus bit*h to get what she deserves! Ughhh!!
