Good novels that are set in China from the 1960s to the 1980s (the era when educated youths were sent to the countryside) 

These are BG and DANMEI novels in which the protagonists experience or take advantage of the Chinese Economic Reform (or an equal era in parallel... more>> world) to gain prosperity. Please advise if there are any misses.  <<less
