20 chapters were coming along f*cking amazingly. On chapter 20, he awaken's 'Mind's Eye' which lets him scan people's emotional states. Pretty damn nice skill right?
On chapter 21, the next f*cking chapter he ignores all signs that he's about to get betrayed by a group of strangers, forgets about the skill's existence, and f*cking gets his teammate killed.
And this guy's backstory isn't some coomer otaku, he was a special forces veteran - clearly author wasn't though since he can't seem to write one in the slightest. This novel has entertaining bits, no doubt about it, but man this sh*t f*cking infuriates me.
