Pian Pian had once been the biggest bigshot in the whole game, but had disappeared from the Jianghu after being framed.

But then she realised that the former user’s online relationship had also been a real-life relationship – with the former user having aborted her scum husband’s baby. Former User’s Husband: “Ai, why’re you forcing yourself to act strong.”

Former Disciple: “Hubbie, did you hear her? She said that she’s Boss Han’s woman! Let’s help her spread this happy news around!”

Later on, she who had dealt with the gossip surrounding her and Boss Han, had actually met the real deal.

“Pian Pian, I heard that you wanted to become my woman?”

“…You think that’s possible?”

“Of course.”

Under the gaze of thousands, she received a message from the game system.

‘Yi Chuan Han Xing wants to do a pair action with you: forcibly kiss. Do you accept? [Yes] [No].”

I can't say much about this novel but honestly the premise is good, it's an interesting book. For those who love scum male and b*cth misstress being put in place this is for you.

As you know, this book is about top female player (FL) whom buy a new account and solve the former owner problem in the game so she (FL) can life peacefully as non competitive player. It's quite like transmigrated person that want to chill but a bunch of annoying relative keep bugging here and there.

4 stars for... more>> now, I'll be back to see the development and maybe increase my rating.

I skipped over a few chapters but I can say that this novel is a good one.

We have realistic FL and ML here where both of them have quite depth. They both have their scars and the way they dealt with those made me understand them a little bit.

The strongest second player was Leng Yue--- and he was FL's first love, Du Hanchuan (iirc) and he was so persistent in marrying her because he couldn't move on. He thought it would be nice to be with her even if it were only in a virtual world.

They broke up after ML went abroad and he couldn't get a hold on his temper resulting in their frequent quarrel. He was still a hot bloodied teen after all. His family then got on a trouble and he didn't even know if he could go back to his country as his family had to solve their problem first. The FL still thought they were in a relationship, but ML thought he was not worthy of her.

Btw, ML's past was rich, yo. He was quite romantic back in his college days, sleeping with girls, drinking. Ofc this happened after their breakup and the broken hearted ML just couldn't move on.

A couple years later the situation was reversed, the FL was the one in trouble and ML tried to help her. FL wanted a stable life, and I think it's realistic, after all her father cheated from her mother after they became rich. FL tried to move on but she realized that she only wanted him and that no one would good enough for him except for him. ML decided to move to Shanghai with his salary reduced and cars confined by his dad.

Since the translations have stopped for quite a while now. I'lll still wait for their translated chapters but in my quest to quench my curiosity of the story I'm started to read this via MTL (goodbye grammar QAQ)

So far I'm liking the story, the original owner of her new account seems very sad. She didn't really have a good experience of playing online with her tr*shy BF. The story has yet to to really delve into the main plot up to chapter 6 so I'll review again once I'm... more>> at least half way through this.

I recommend this though ! MMORPG stories like this are somewhat relatable and it's a nice read so far <<less

I thought this bore a few similarities to Love O2O / A Slight Smile is Very Charming... as it involves a top player ML who chases after the top player MC in an MMO.

The beginning part is already spelled out in the summary... in which the MC, who is #1 in combat ratings, decides to sell her own account and buy a lower level account. She then finds herself entangled in the previous account owner's drama, especially since previous account owner has requested that the transfer not be revealed for... more>> some time. MMO drama ensues.

The story is rather heavy in parts as you find out the real life issues that she (and some of the other players) have been dealing with. The MC herself has been heavily depressed and contemplated su*cide once or more times in the past. I do like that she's pretty realistic with noting that people don't necessarily project their true selves in their game personas... which is actually why she can't trust them to get too close to them (particularly with in-game marriages). I also like that there's an acknowledgement that the age range of the gamers is pretty wide.

You'll see quite a few flashbacks that explain her current personality... with events involving her family and her first love. Honestly, I thought some of the reasons for their breakup (s) weren't that serious, but they were indeed still very young... and the distance later on just made everything worse.

In the end, the story seems to reinforce that timing is key in relationships.

A few spoilers (mostly minor) :

    • More parallels to Love O2O / A Slight Smile is Very Charming:
        • He knew her before he pursued her in game... although, in this instance, that was pretty much his sole reason for logging in and leveling up.
        • He is also involved in the actual game development that they're playing (real-world-wise, not just in-game). In fact, so is her ex-boyfriend.
        • There are some in-game pains in the neck that are also real-life pains in the neck - perhaps less in number, but still just as annoying
    • ML's life was actually already falling apart before he even left for college, which is why he seemed to have cooled down with her before he graduated HS.
    • They were already broken up when he was messing around, but she was still holding on to hope, while he thought they were just done.
    • Bad stuff happens, but they seem to miraculously (though, still logically) seem to work out

I'm rating it a 4 at this time, as some of the flashbacks seemed a little messy, and it just seems unbelievable (to me) that a good percentage of the top 10 players of the game have this much drama. Otherwise, it was a good read that I wanted to see to the end and they acted like real people.

I do now want an illustration of Feng Wu Pian Ren and Yi Chuan Han Xing, though... but mostly the former; her avatar just sounds so kick-ass. ;p <<less
