The protagonist, Satsuki Okinaga, found himself experiencing what is commonly known as “transmigration by a god.” However, unlike the usual trope where one receives overpowered and cheat-like abilities and frolics in another world, Okinaga only desired a sturdy body and a convenient item box. However, these two abilities, particularly the item box, seemed to possess such extraordinary capabilities that one might suspect a bug in the god’s interpretation. While he thought it might be useful if used properly, it turned out he wasn’t the only transmigrant; there were others who had been reincarnated into the same world. Furthermore, they claimed to be the main characters, calling Okinaga irregular and a stepping stone. This is the story of a man who, after being reincarnated not into another world but into a modern fantasy world, lives at his own pace while knowing the truth of that world.
