Tabi ni Deyou, Horobiyuku Sekai no Hate Made

Description

The story revolves around a boy and a girl who travel together through a world that is gradually nearing its end. A mysterious illness has emerged that erases the very existence of everyone who suffers from it. The story does, however, not focus on the tragic aspect of this fairly post-apocalyptic setting, but rather shows the people and events the two travelers come across during their journey.

i read this a while ago but never rated it. Weird.

a very good story that's not focused on tragedy despite the premise. Just two nameless people traveling around enjoying life as much as they can while they can. There's an overtone of melancholy but its not overwhelming and romance isn't really a big part of the story; its more about human connections.

Spoiler

and I find the idea of just fading away from reality far more scary than most end of the world scenarios

A great novel.

Dispite being a novel about an ongoing apocalyptic world, it is a Slice of Life kind of story and that contract make the character all the more engaging to the reader.

The Slice of Life feel to it despite the looming "end" make this story truely all about the journey, not the end.

The author ask you the question of: "What would you do if you could leave nothing behind after dying?" and the author's answer is the story in the novel.

The story is very nice and very imaginable. Reading the story you can vividly imagine yourself being on the journey and due to the setting where you vanish with everything related to you (name, pictures, memories of you...). Due to this the exchange with other people is very well written one sidely though. The story being short and every chapter being independent from the others is big plus and worth the read.

Eh sorry for my English, but I really need to say something about this tiny light novel that for me is great.
The story is simple but at the same time complex, it had very emotional scenes that will wet your eyes a bit. It's about a girl and boy that travels to the end of the world and meets with people in an apocalyptic scenario. But the story isn't focused on the apocalypse but on people that the "couple" meets along their journey.

For me was a beautiful story that I had read in two hours. And felt something that I need to write a review about it, sorry if isn't make sense.

Have a good day to all who have read my review
