i enjoy dog blood/angst stories with red flag scummy mls, so i can tolerate a lot of toxicity. however, there are some mfs who are so:
1. baffling in their a**holery.
2. they didn't repent enough imo in comparison to what they put the mc through, and had virtually no character development that i can't defend them.
3. they're unsuitable to be love interests. in other words, they're cookie-cutter black bellied ceo types who have the personality of wet cardboard. they're unintriguing and uncharismatic despite the narrative telling me otherwise...
these type of guys can go to the HALL OF SHAME so us masochists can maintain at least some standards :')
(no hate towards the author, translators, or fans of these tho!! these are just my opinions.)

i have such mixed feelings on this novel. i like it, the world building and action scenes are fun, and it definitely made me cry. but my god, this ml is on another level. he definitely had his reasons for not wanting to get together with mc at first but screwing him on the side and being so controlling at that while being adamant that he fell out of love with mc is so hypocritical to me. he weirdly takes mc's extreme devotion for granted, and i can't imagine anyone other than the mc thinking he's hot shit. bingo, he's ticks the three boxes for the gong hall of shame.... more>>

klopp is such a jerk who never changes in any of the lives. he's one of the worst, most uncharismatic male leads ever in any of his lives. his characterization is consistent though. he ticks boxes 2 and 3 but ig there's a reason for his a**holery. actually, he kinda repented in the second volume only but i still don't like him lmao.... more>>
