some people been saying that this novel are quite cliche and the main characters have Stockholm syndrome on them. i did agree but honestly theres so much to it rather than those two things. to start with, i fall in love with how the MC try to understand his position and fate at the same time, i felt sometime even we cant really run from something that fall upon ourself but we could make a better version of it, it depends on our efforts and will to make it come true. In addition the MC and ML are both being logic and rational, they have their own ambition, they do understand each other and make... more>> the best out of it. the love between them also beautiful and the tension was great as well. the political court were there but it was actually things that you commonly found on historical novel. furthermore, the realistic ending, throughout reading this novel i kept wondering on how the author will end this book, and by the time i finished the book i felt super satisfied thinking if i was the one who wrote this i probably would end the story the same way as the author.

what can i say about this novel, i read the novel, watched the donghua and the drama adaptation, listen to the audio drama and read the manhua. to say i don't like it would be an obvious lie. even each of adaptation have its own differences i found that all of them were good. ... more>>

i always thought that the author write a whole beautifully neat plot, i believe the whole story contains 4 arcs and how the author pull the thread among each arc to the other were very good and easy to understand. some twisted plot were also very fun to discover. Each characters also have their own lovely traits. Misunderstanding happens a lot between some characters in this book and actually became the fuel to other big fires (problems).

read it and you will never regret it. <<less

SUPERB, FANTASTIC, MIND BLOWN, that's it. For someone like me who are a sl*t to story plot with historical politic scheme, my soul were very satisfied with the entire story. the way the author truly arrange a map to make the readers understand the book just show how good and beautifully written this book. I'm sad bcs i know its gonna be pretty hard to find another book similar to this, but i would be more sad and full regret if i never know that this kind of story exist, truly beyond good.... more>>
