As usual, I only like a story where the couple have a well balanced relationship, the MC and ML both trying their best to love and protect each other, not a one-sided efforts. <<less

I originally have a high expectation for this novel. But like Icarus, I fell so hard. Yes, this gotta be the first BL novel that I didn't approve of the main CP! Like, usually every novel has already a fixed CP and their romance would be the most fleshed out and amazing one. But in this case, I was shipping the MC towards 2 other guys, nah not just me, almost 90% of the readers shipped MC with other guys, then suddenly the ML came out of nowhere and suddenly had s*x with the MC! Like, WTF!??? Who are you! Why!? How!? How did this pe*vert who only think on his dick, who cuckolded the... more>> MC of his previous wife, and actually still has a healthy and kicking alive wife currently, suddenly lusting over the MC??? And the MC who never behaved differently or showed any indication of being gay, or even having favorable impression towards this sudden ML, actually accept and quickly having s*x out of nowhere?? They have no chemistry at all. 

I never mind the p*rn. But the choice of the ML truly make me feeling bitter and disappointed.

I dropped the novel since the novel is full of ton of smuts, hardcore smuts, and the CP are not my cup of tea. Bye bye my high expectation...~ <<less

It's a good and nice short story to have, something you can have without feeling bitter about any undesirable plot, there's no trigger such as... more>> su*cide, abuse, or anything that some people might hate. The way it was written, the POV, the switch between past and present timeline, the use of the Cat as the analogy to start the narration of the past lover, was a big bonus, and I like it a lot. <<less
