not all of us have time to read thousands of chapters so we have to pick and choose when looking for quality books that don't repeat the same plot over and over again for 2000 chapters. these are the ones i think are worth checking out :) 

my fave genre is xianxia but i also read a lot of xuanhuan. due to the fact that these novels are extremely long and i try to finish most books i start unless they're completely unbearable, this list will take some time to update.
