Field of Gold is a very refreshing and different for the MC has to start for the bottom of the social latter. most of the Chinese novels I seen on this site and others has the MC as a noble but is bullied(etc) and it does not take long for the MC to have a stable footing, however the MC in Field of Gold as to start at bottom of the social latter in a very poor fishing family. I find this a very worthy read and I hope you do too.
