I was really curious to see why this story had such a poor rating and after forcing myself through 9 chapters I get it. The author has managed to one up the ever pervasive spineless male lead troupe, by having him forgive people for tortureing him. And I mean actual physical torture including dismemberment. In some of these beginning chapters we get gems like "I can't see you everyday because of the brutality you inflicted on me, so how about we see each other every other day?" (Heavily paraphrased). It... more>> leaves me wondering if our MC is secretly a fan of CBT because that is the only explanation I can reach. On a more positive note, the transition itself is great. Although that just makes the story being poor all the more glaring. Overall 1/5 read if you want a story that has a door mat instead of a protagonist. <<less
