Although I understand why other people might not like it, I love these illogical misunderstandings happening in the story. It's hilarious. I love the MC seducing the ML without even realizing it, and the ML really wants MC to know how he feels but never says it out loud. Both the MC and ML are very cute

Wasn't terrible or anything, but not for me.

Story is very much typical "I'm so Random :P:P:P" comedy with little substance.

Right from the get-go we're thrown in to the middle of a chaotic scene without any character development or introduction and just told to roll with it.

The characters act n a very random way that obviously benefits to fast-pace the plot direction, without actually making sense for a person to act like that. It just feels like there was no care given to look deeply into the characters or motivations, leaving... more>> the story feeling shallow. <<less

Honestly probably 3.75 stars as of now, I just wanted to off set the bad reviews. It's fine to read to past time. The MC is so entirely too dense, and I can see the multiple miscommunications being annoying rather than funny if it persist much longer, however I'm in the mood for something light and romantic so it will do. Translation is great!

I actually know people like the MC in real life (hint: they all have ADHD), so for me it makes for relatively believable comedy, but be prepared to stew in secondhand embarrassment while reading it -- that's the point of this style of writing.

If you are a reader like Rainy_Roo, who likes formula (see their review above), it may be indeed a good idea to go somewhere else right now. However, the cure to that kind of limitation is precisely to read more books. If you're looking to explore, I... more>> would consider this novella a suitable entry level text for in medias res storytelling, where the audience is expected to infer background information based on the unfolding events. It's not perfect, but nothing is; give it a try.

HAHAHAHAAAA!!!!!!

one of the funniest novels I’ve read in a while! I wanted a bit more substance though and was going to rate it 4/5 but then I remembered how the novel made me laugh out loud so many times and it truly deserves a 5 🌟

I kinda wish the extras were about their married life or his roommate but that’s okay!

overall, chill novel, park your brain cells at the door and enjoy our funny MC Xiu Xiu’s romance with Boss Ning!

This is a really hilarious short novel. The MC misunderstands that the ML likes his bestfriend since his bestfriend is super popular. He tries to create opportunities for them but instead the ML always gets annoyed about it. When he finally realizes that the ML likes him he then thinks he’s the top in the relationship. All in all there are tons of hilarious moments. A nice light easy read.

Lmao I misread the summary and title. I took it would be a story about Jealous Boss tried to Chase 'AWAY' MC's roommates. Lol 🤣

Okay, but thank goodness the story is Sooooooo much better than what I expected!!!

Our MC's brain circuit was beyond help. Lol 😂 but that's what made the story so funny and epic. He's Adorkable!

(^ with a bit of indulgence because I liked the ML and wasn't frustrated with a MC's personality for once)

It was cute and easy to read. I liked the main trio's personalities and I really enjoyed having a slightly atypical ML (you think he would be the stereotypical cold dominating CEO type, but he is very cute and caring). MC was fun, I enjoyed how when he realized he was indeed gay, he was all in and his dedication +... more>> passion were, uh, admirable.

Both leads are dumbasses and they fit together perfectely. Wish the extras were more about them

What we got instead were the forum posts that MC wrote, but the details were different from what happened in the story so it was a bit confusing at time. I just rolled with it, since the extras really didn't matter that much. You can skip them.

In the end, what I am trying to say is that while this work isn't amazing or very memorable, it was fun to read and had many sweet moments. If the relationship between the two was a bit more fleshed out, I would have easily rated this 4 stars and recommended it to anyone wanting a quick cute read. As of now, I think that if you are bored enough, reading this wouldn't be a waste of time, just keep your expectations low. <<less

At first you think that the MC is an idiot with a galactic sized brain hole.

Then you meet his family and they all have brain holes too.

The ML doesn't have a brain hole, but is a master of saying the perfect thing to make the airhead MC totally misunderstand.

... more>> In fact except for the best friend and step-mother, everyone in the story is crazy.

Then you realize that what you are reading is BL done by the Three Stooges and it all makes sense.

It was quick, dumb, funny and very cute. I quite enjoyed it. <<less

The first couple chapters weren't very captivating for me right now because I think I'm more in the mood for something with plotting and face slapping. That's not the fault of this book - I can see how it would be great if you were looking for something cute with a clueless MC. But the MC was a bit too clueless to me, and I'm struggling to understand how the ML would even develop a crush on him. There's seems to be some logic missing, though it might get explained... more>> later. <<less
