so the reason she needed money was because of her debts and she also wanted to go and study again and live the rest of her life in leisure. And the reason Lee JiKyung needed to marry was because he was gay and because he was at a marriageable age he needed to marry to hide it. So it wouldn’t matter if a person does not marry but he was kinda sensitive about it and wanted to hide it. But no one would marry him knowing he is gay and that they won’t be loved, but AhJung didn’t care about it. They didn’t love each other but was best friends since childhood.

JiHan is the ML. He was studying abroad in U.S and only came back because it was his holiday and was planning to go back later. He’s dream was to become a chef and he was very good at cooking but he was forced to give this dream up when he was a child because he is rich people’s son. Turns out later that the mother knew Jikyung was gay and only wanted to use Ahjung to hide it. Ahjung is a very confident and cute girl. She’s good a pt acting. She had a lonely childhood but was friends with Jikyung. She had to move out with her family because of loan sharks so she didn’t see Jikyung for a while but they met later and set up this contract marriage. Jikyung was such a nice bridge between they’re love, whenever they had a problem they would call him and he would give advise

so he happens to find out about Jikyung’s sexuality and he’s just sad and angry that he never told him about it. The contract marriage also gets clear. They have many cute moments together and start dating around chapter 35. When Jikyung finds out at first he is angry and scared that people will find out he is into guys. But approves of them when he calmed down. The mother-in-law was angry at first but stops when Jihan threatens to turn like his brother and not get another woman. Later she approves of them in a very tsundere way

Jihan will be the one who pushed MC towards her dreams and the one who raised her self confidence so I'll give him a +point for that. The downside of this story is ML being too dominant to my liking, though MC might beg to differ. She appeared to had little to no problem about how ML treated her, not that I have any problem with that. At least, ML truly loved her and did everything with MC's best interest in mind. I really like how MC completely wrapped him around her fingers.

If I am to use words to describe the ML, he would be: peculiar, annoying, but I can't stay angry with him for a long time. He had this strange way of thinking that not quite right but not wrong either.

As I read, I found Ahjung to be not as happy as she looked in the outside. Her self-confidence was almost nonexistent, her family didn't support her (they are mostly indifferent), she didn't have money... to be quite frank, she was struggling to live. Strangely, sometimes I sensed humor in her POV. She might not be the strongest FL out there, she also depended a lot on ML but I found her attitude to be quite refreshing. She'll eventually gain confidence and will be able to tell others about what she really wants. A bonus point: she is cute.

Ah, this friend! As the conflict unfolds, I HATE him so much. I have no feelings about him at first. He is just the kind friend who wants some benefits. At the middle of the story though... I guess this kind and perfect man can also be selfish. Well... human nature in general. Good thing that he eventually realize his mistake.

She's not as good as you think she is... but rest assured, this story is not about the evil mother in law. She didn't appear as much, anyway.
