Qi Yi was a game technology anchor before his death, and entered the world of novels after his death.

In this world, he is a gentle, handsome, golden and affectionate second male lead. A stepping stone for the protagonist.

He had to go through the plot, and at the same time he was busy with his career, just to not be too miserable in the finale.

So he started to be an anchor. On the first day of the broadcast, a big guy came to his live broadcast room and directly made him number one in the new anchor list!

This so-called fate is indescribable. He added contact information of this big guy, and took him to play games every day.

After he became popular, his elder brother found out about his live broadcast. Not only did his elder brother not disagree, but he even grabbed the top spots on the supporter list along with the big boss.

As a last resort, he confessed his gender to the boss, and then the boss disappeared.

Later, he met someone who was the protagonist’s white moonlight, and they got along well.

To his surprise, he was contacted by the boss again and was asked how to chase people.

He taught him the method, but he didn’t expect that it would be used on him.

So he was with the protagonist’s white moonlight.

Rating 2/5. Ok to kill time, not great but not offensively awful

Story Concept: pretty decent, MC transmigrating into a novel as the second male lead character who always cares for the protagonist but isn't chosen in the end ends up with the protagonist's white moonlight.

Story execution: pretty poor. Unlike what is implied in the novel summary, MC does not have the ability to do whatever he wants to change his "destiny" similarly to his background in being an anchor has these settings these points/constraints are pretty negligible and are only... more>> there as a "reason" for why and then seemingly forgotten.

The author tries to give the Love interest ML (Shou) a little bit more of a transition from not liking MC (or indifferent) to falling in love, but it's still pretty abrupt. Part way through the story/romance line, I even ended up questioning whether MC actually even likes ML.

The MC's backstory of what he experienced in his previous life/real world was such a good setting! But it wasn't utilized as well as it could've within the story. I suppose it was written that way to help explain MC's attitude a little, but at the same time it could've been used so much more as part of the conflict in the romance/relationship development between MC and ML. Or an internal struggle to reconcile with his past -- but it was only tagged on as an extra, but not even a good extra as it doesn't fully explain the actions/feelings from the rest of the main story. <<less

No rating since I didn't even come close to finishing and didn't drop it because it was horrible but because I'm cheap 😅. I was only able to MTL to chapter 20 as it become pay per chapter after that and I wasn't into the story enough to continue.

Interesting idea but I didn't like it in theory.
Spoiler

MC is so wrapped up in his streaming that he doesn't even try to figure a way to break the systems control. Just content to be the original MCs s*ave and watching his brothers company go down the drain. I mean he isn't happy about it, but so far hasn't done much to stop it or even prepare money for when his brother's company is bankrupt (according to the original story). ML seems like he figured out that the streamer is actually the MC early on, but then just forgets about it? ML seems smart 1 minute and s*upid the next

Not sure who the gong/shou is
Spoiler

though the other reviewer says MC is the gong and the tags say so, but his personality is more shou to me. Also don't understand the crossdressing. Not against crossdressing just seemed OOC for MC

Would probably continue if the rest is translated, but I have a feeling the translator dropped because of the publisher JJ trying to break into the English market.
