Nice novel but it's only a good read for when your bored. It's the type of novel that you read once but never twice cause the plot was basically little to none and the characters isn't rubbing on you.

So MC transmigrate while ML is reborn. I don't like how ML is all "I wanna make Gu Li have what she should cause 1st life is bad but she stayed with me til the end, so in this life I will love her" but then MC isn't the real Gu Li... more>> cause she transmigrate so it makes everything that ML do pointless. It leaves a bad taste cause that means that MC is only getting the love that she has cause ML thinks she's the real Gu Li when she's not.

Also hate how the novel really doesn't have a plot or a good flow to it, while reading I skipped a lot of stuff cause it was boring and really kind of dull. <<less

It's a short and sweet story. What I absolutely loved the most was communication. There is proper communication between MC and ML. Or rather, ML realises how he has failed in expressing his changed emotions about her clearly to her which caused her insecurity and apologises before proceeding to explain his emotions and heart clearly to her. It has no angst, no ab*se, just fluff.

MC transmigrated and ML is reborn. However he seems like he didn't grow as a person after his life-death experience. Still paranoid and cruel as he was in his first life.

The original owner apparently "stayed" with ML until the very end, in that, she never betrayed him so he views her favourably. So it's not like MC saved his life or gave up her life for his. She just wanted a sugar daddy and he fit the bill. So idk why ML would favour her after his rebirth. But I... more>> feel bad for MC because this is legit his thought process: "After rebirth, Shang Jinyan was quite satisfied with Gu Li. She was beautiful, well-behaved, talked little, and was quite open in bed." Wtf. He basically wants a s*ave, not a lover. This is quite sick and I can see why it has such bad ratings. <<less

Pure fluff and sweet love story. So fluffy that made me sacrificed my sleep time to read all of it. And I took great pleasure in reading this work.

Hope everyone will enjoy reading this story like me too. Cheering for the translator to finish translating this.

I really enjoyed reading this novel! I read this a long time ago. So, I forgot a lots of things! Thats why I'll reread it again! After finishing reading, I'll update spoilers! But I can say that You won't regret reading it if you like this kind of genre!

Well, it's just so so. Pretty sure it's not everyone's cup of tea -at least not for me, that's for sure- since the ML is quite a jerk to me and FL didn't make it better. Kinda confused because she was so chill in taking the fact that she took over someone else's body. It bugs me off every time she pulled an excuse that the body she took over was based on her. I was like, soooo? The fact is that you got a privilege on O!Owner's sufferings! I... more>> would've appreciated it better if she was thankful or anything to the O!Owner. ML is a frcking jerk. At least have a hesitation, would you? At least your original lover stayed there, don't act like you had given her a grace or something.

Actually, I only stayed for the side characters' story. FL's friend and her bf is reallly cuteee <<less

This is one of the worst novels I've ever read. Simply put, this novel shows every single thing that's wrong with this world.

It's absolutely disgusting. First all, the relationship between the main character and the male lead is r*pe. It is specifically pointed out by the female lead and her make up artist who tries to protect her or wants the best from her that the male lead is ima position of power where she, the main character, cannot oppose. She (the MC) explicitly likens the feeling to being in... more>> a cage. She gets all the material goods in the world, but doesn't have freedom.

This is a direct quote from the novel to show you exactly how horrible the MALE LEAD is. This is what he says about women:

If women aren't taught a proper lesson, they'll keep acting up. They need both a firm stick and sweet rewards to learn their place.

Secondly, this novel makes fun of everyone who makes an honest living. When the male lead violates laws and almost kills people in car accidents, he's praised because he has a "Rolls Royce". When the FL skips out of work, the brighter talks about the cast suffering, but then has the cast praising the FL for having a strong sugar daddy.

It's weird because the writer knows that it's wrong, but they continue to support the misbehaviors of the main couple.

Stalking, corruption, ab*se of authority, r*pe - the ML does it all and the writer acknowledges that it's wrong, but makes the FL forcefully like it and encourages it? And he actually forcefully r*pes her when she does want to have s*x. He thinks it's "cute" how she "hesitates".

The villain was a terrible person in his first life, but instead of repenting in his second one, he doubles down on everything bad he did the first time around. He should not have gotten a second chance. Again, the worst people succeed in this novel and everyone reasonable live a forcefully supressed life.

The worst part is when the FL goes to have an abortion because she feels wrong for bringing a new life into her unstable situation, the ML sends his secretary to stalk her and makes her forcefully keep the baby and give birth and the writer makes the FL give up her resistance. She! Doesn't! Want! The baby! HE FORCED HER!!!

I can't properly explain how terrible this novel is and how utterly toxic the ML is. There are 44 translated chapters in the novel currently, and 43 of them will show you exactly why humans are the worst creatures.

This is a novel about coercive control which is a form of domestic ab*se. Coercive control is a pattern where one partner—very often a man—uses power, dependency, and structural advantage to dominate the other, without needing to hit, scream, or explicitly threaten.

I feel bad for the MC. She doesn't love the ML, but she doesn't have a choice but to stay with him. She's like a trapped bird who perpetuates the ab*se cycle and helps repress people with her sugar daddy's influence. <<less

This is a light novel

It focuses more between the relationship growth between the leads, as they change from contract lovers to married couple to parents and the growth of the kids.

There's no much drama and the original FL of the novel doesn't appear much

It's more like married life/slice of life novel

I just didn't like the last three extra chapters about the real world, what about the babies they had in the novel world?

But overall it was quite enjoyable.

My rating is 3.5 stars and had to round it off for novelupdates. The conversations of netizens tend to be too saturated so I just skipped them all together. Even then, it did not affect my understanding of the story at all.

There's little to no conflict. Everything went on smoothly. The romance is great. ML is very doting on MC and he knows how to cherish his woman. MC was very calm and it did not take long for her to adapt.

The whole novel is pure fluff. It should have... more>> some heavy topics because of the premise of rebirth, but there's little to none. It's a good cleanser if you've been reading some heavy drama and just want to find something relaxing. <<less

Nothing big will happen in the novel so if you love read something light... go for it and don't expect any face slap or dramatic revenge... Nah... but it was ok to pass the time and I finished it in 2 days as well...

The MC is just too bland for my taste. She is colorless, tasteless, and has no noticeable personality. I can't pick even one character trait to describe her after finishing the book. Even if she was s*upid, at least that can be considered character trait. But this MC is just completely form-less. We as readers read about her, but nothing to "feel" her. Her feelings aren't described at all. This story from ML's perspective probably had more personality than MC. I couldn't tell if MC really loves ML or not... more>> for almost 3/4th of the book. She never really showed her affection for him unless it is in front of camera (?).

But other than, it's a good light hearted read. Read it to relax and enjoy. <<less

It's so fluffy that it's nice to read since I read this after reading an angst novel. But it's getting boring since practically there is no conflict. The synopsis made me disappointed; I expected a confrontation between the MC and the white moonlight but there was none.

Spoiler

The white moonlight only appear three or four times until the last chapter I read. She did try to defame MC once but MC wasn't even aware of it.

It's a nice story and interesting until chapter 40ish it becomes bland and boring so fast.

This story lost its strong point after the MC and ML resolve their relationship, and throw away the contract lover status. We are presented with a nice story of how of the couple relationship starts, but the author forgot to write another strong point to make this story more engaging.

For example, the ML's enemies and more importantly his uncles. Since ML (and his parents) died in the first live because his uncles' schemes but then... more>> we didnt get to read anything about them at all. It's like they're not existed and just got mentioned when it's necessary. If 80% of the story was MC's scene I'd understand if the author only made MC as the sole narrator in this story, but we're presented with ML's narration too, so it's like double MC. So why we didnt get to read how the enemies and ML fight and scheme each other, and it was solved in a very quiet decision that lacking its power.

Also too much netizens talks. I dont read these winc it's very much useless and didnt garner anything to the story at all beside racking MC's point as the FL. The support characters that show up and disappear, all the detail on the shows that MC appear on. These pointless element were truly pointless. <<less
