During a random mission, He Chen, a B-rank Guide, crosses paths with Jiang Ye.

Jiang Ye possesses an S-rank gravity ability and is publicly known as the strongest Sentinel in the Huaxia Alliance. However, because he doesn’t have a dedicated partner Guide, he frequently falls into violent rampages.

As luck would have it, what He Chen runs into is exactly that: Jiang Ye in the middle of a total breakdown. What’s more, a massive white tiger is running toward him, wailing at the top of its lungs.

The white tiger: “Handsome guy, save me! Help!” He Chen: “???”

And just like that, He Chen gets cleanly kidnapped by Jiang Ye’s spiritual animal.

Inside the eye of the raging storm, Jiang Ye’s usually straight and proud back is rarely ever so slightly hunched. He sits leaning against a low wall, his head bowed, with his medium-length white hair shadowing his face. He looks completely lifeless. At first glance, he just seems incredibly depressed and pitiful.
