As others pointed out, it's way too short for anything substantial to happen. Nice idea, but that's it. Not even the original source of the misunderstanding in the center of the plot twist is explained.

I liked it but I agree that it reads more like a creative writing exercise than anything else. It would've been great if it were just a bit longer, the characters just a bit more fleshed out.

This is sort of a bittersweet story of forbidden love and misunderstandings that ends up abruptly. It's a “sad” ending because none of the characters really got what they wanted.

more like a setting for a real novel than a oneshot. It could be interesting but that's still just a rough story with a ML with no confidence while being amazing and an obsessive/possibly yandere perfect girl... yeah, feels like japan already gave these type of setting, but I'd still read it if there's more than a oneshot xD
