The ex was introduced as that girl early on and it was pretty obvious there was a trauma involved which is fine however it took AGES to find out what happened (matter of fact, like the last few chapters).

The ex's cousin was a complete and total self-righteous turd about trying to force MC to move on from his dead ex (her cousin).

MC's reaction during the confrontation started out pretty real but quickly turned into me being really upset that he didn't tell her to F-off with her trying to play with other peoples emotions and lives even if she thinks it's for a good reason.

The dead ex left a message to be given to MC through the ex's cousin. This message was made by a young girl so I won't complain too much about how it's essentially IGNORING mc's feelings and will but I will absolutely complain about how the ex gave her cousin a directive to make him move on even if she has to woo him herself. Why are those two characters so self-absorbed?
