Ch1
MC is a handsome, popular guy who can easily date any girl (not Beta, yay!) but he himself isn't interested in going out with anyone since he can't seem to forget his first love. And then he saw the 'Saint', the most popular girl of the school (duh) being in trouble so he helps her out but when she tries to thank him he instead lashes out on her for keeping a fake angelic mask. The Saint's beauty has no effect on him since he saw through her facade in an instant (My man!).
Ch2
After school, the Saint invites him to walk back home with her in front of entire class (typical jealous classmates staring MC with envy). MC tries to refuse and give excuses but his friends cut off all of his excuses. So he had to reluctantly go with her.
So far so good but the translator stopped translating. After almost a year, the translator picked it back up and I was happy, only to later realize why translator stopped at Ch 2 before.
Ch3
Here's where thing starts to go wrong, mainly with MC's character. Saint walks in his room and his heart skipped on seeing her (Uh, what? Last time I remember I wasn't reading a novel with loner, not used to girls, unpopular MC but a Man who remained unaffected by top beauty's charms). It just so happens that Saint was bad at cooking and MC was good in it so he cooks food for him. And it just so happens that he was bad at cleaning and she was good at cleaning so she cleans his room in exchange (yeah, I ain't buying that). And he again feels his heartbeat skip seeing the Saint puff up her cheeks like a loner MC who for the first time had a girl notice him.
Ch4
The Saint proposes to MC to go to school together and he tries to refuse her saying they would garner envious stares but the Saint only gets happy and takes his hand and starts walking. And... he does nothing (Who is this weak willed guy?).
Near the entrance and everyone's reactions are: "Who is this guy walking with the popular Saint?" "I am so jealous" etc., etc. (Please someone remind me if this guy wasn't an already established popular guy and not a background character suddenly brought to limelight). And then MC repeats again that he want to pinch the Saint's puffed cheeks because she looks cute.
