Yao Jinxi likes spring. This is because after spring, the weather becomes warmer. His favourite new tea would also be on the market by then.

It was also in the mild and rainy spring season that he was forced to take care of Wu Yang, a strange and troublesome guy.

Hence, spring is a suitable time for the story to begin.

Regarding the attributes of gong and shou, it’s hard to say at first. But probably:

Yao Jinxi: Are you saying that this guy is schizophrenic?

Wu Yang: In fact, Jinxi is very cute. Despite his temper, which is worse than the way he looks. Despite him liking to sleep in and being picky with what he eats. And despite him refusing to wash the dishes after cooking… He is really cute.

Story was quaint and the romance was lovely, but the best part was the translator. Very rare these days to have someone be so invested in the story. Its usually barely edited MTL so huge props to the translator for doing such a wonderful job!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars (rating 5 bc the rating at this time doesn't feel to do the story justice)

I personally feel like 2 tags are missing in the tags section (although it indicates a spoiler in the story, I think it could also be why there is such a low rating bc readers going into the story without these expectations would be given an unpleasant surprise). My personal thoughts about that situation in the story (related to the tags).

Personally, I don't agree with how the MC handled it but I can understand the ins and outs from his perspective. Ideally, I wished the MC didn't put himself through so much self-guilt and just cut off off his younger brother until the he realized how much of a scum he was on his own. Although the MC indulged and spoiled his younger brother since he was young, that doesn't give his younger brother an excuse nor is it a reason for him to attempt to r*pe the MC. Although, you can say the MC's previous behaviour could've given the younger brother the impression that "anything he does will be accepted by the MC or forgiven if he makes a mistake", that is still the younger brother's fault for not realizing that there is a bottom line to everything regardless how deep your relationship is.

About the story:

Aside from what I mentioned earlier, this story is like a modern slice of life story about 2 people who met each other through a mutual acquitance and got to know each other before eventually getting together. From how often they saw each other, influenced each other, and became a part of each others daily lives, even without officially getting together, they were basically a couple. As with modern SOL stories, there is a tragic past or something traumatic that does happen to the main leads, but usually the story is quite fluffy and sweet with minimal drama (but enough to keep you engaged). <<less

mc's half-brother was in love with MC and tried to r*pe MC. MC and his mother, instead of forcing him into therapy or completely cut ties with him, they just... crossed their fingers and hoped he would instantly get rid of his feeling for MC. when he was going abroad for work and to stay away from MC, MC called him selfish and immature. I was so dumbfounded I kinda laughed. is in*estuous love something that can go away so easily? like, okay, he's an adult and they don't have to coddle him, but MC actually tried to guilt-trip him into staying so he could visit their mother and she wouldn't be lonely?? what is this mess lol.
