From the start I never root for Duan Jin to be the end game, even though the tag says it's romance. It just doesn't click, her obsession toward him is unhealthy, vice versa. After reborn, she has no ability to love anymore, it's all mere obsessions. Even her mistaken by people love toward Ye Family is due to obsession. Faintly, I guessed she will be pair with no one and I was right. She was made by the author to be like that, like I said, a lone star, not that I complain, I love you good author.

Even Duan Jin, I know he is that ruthless, but well... wrong target imo. One loves out of obsession while the other obsesses out of love. While I got the hint someone is going to rebel after Ye Suijin's talk with Third Son, Tang Mingjie's end is really plot driven just to kill her love interest. That kind of convenient, really a cheap move.

As for Ye Baoyu, Twelfth Daughter, it's a bit stretch that her marriage with him was made like they married out of love when I can see clearly she saw him like Ye Suijin saw Zhao Jingwen, to make her parents shut up. While she's not decisive enough, I hope she's not following the old Ye Suijin but clearly I want too much I mean what I am expecting from an underage girl who had no idea that her sister is reborn.
