Before I knew it, I became Leo, the character who gets chomped up by aliens at the start of the ultra-hardcore epic RPG ‘Rakshasa Galaxy’.

And, just my luck, right at the moment before getting eaten.

So, I thought I’d go out in style with an epic speech, but for some reason… I ended up becoming a hero instead!?

This is the story of a guy whose every move turns into a joke, featuring muscles, battles, and an ever-growing dark history.

Yeaaaaaaah, this one is s*upid, but pretty enjoyable.

It's one of those stories where you have to turn off your critical logic part of your brain and just let the words do its work to enjoy it.

It's a bit of a chaotic nonsense background-wise, the progression is quite wack, and the characters beside MC is unfortunately forgettable (it's not like he wasn't, tho), but hey, the way the story goes will probably tickle your boyish heart.

After a long time, I'm glad I found a very nice sci-fi novel again. Rakshasa Galaxy is just so good that I enjoyed reading everything.

First, I like the MC's personality. He's like a kinder and funnier version of the MC from Combatants Will Be Dispatched! He acts like a joke character but still fights with his all and constantly struggling with life and death scenario, but even after that he's still a bright idiot. It's because of him that I love the atmosphere of the story. He's the personification of... more>> comedy on this novel.

The earlier to mid chapters are mostly focus on the MC and people that are very close to him, but after that, near chapter 200, his classmates went from being side character into main one that they now have a frequent spotlight, and I love that. Them and the MC got thrown in hell and survived together that each of them will become strong enough to become elite (monsters).

This novel never feels like a one man show of the MC. Although he's being treated as the strongest, our boy still acts like a handyman doing part time jobs because he can't stay still. There's always that moment where he cooks for his unit and looks like a family moment.

There's not really much I can say regarding romance since it's pretty much subtle. The MC and his wife (the princess) has a good relationship. His wife even approves harem. Speaking of harem, as I said there's not really much romance here, you can only tell the MC likes them as they like him. It's never really a focus and didn't interrupt anything in the story.

I expected that the main focus of this novel is defeating the Zorks, but even after that, the author continue writing the story and expands the world/universe to include various nations in space. It brought a new and exciting development. Plus, more mystery regarding his powers are being revealed. Even after reading to the latest chapters, I could say that the story still has many potential developments.

Although the story is not really something new, it still brought a breath of fresh air to me because it's hard to find a good sci-fi story on this site that is set in space and involves a group of characters. The chapters are enjoyable enough that I didn't feel it's a task to continue reading this. Highly recommend if you want an entertaining reading. <<less

Unironically peak. It's a good scifi story with a lot of comedic moments.

Some people might have an issue with the tone since it's an action comedy type of story despite being a space opera with an intergalactic war against a hostile race intent on wiping out humanity but that is deliberate due to spoiler reasons.

the MC's esper abilities let's him manipulate reality so that everything within his perception gets a happy ending (aka comedy genre). It has it's limitations that it only includes people he's aware of so he's unable to save people dying in battles that he's not a part of.

    [collapse]

The novel is action packed and has a lot of funny moments. The characters aren't as fleshed out as I like them to be but they still get their moments especially after the main crisis is resolved. The relationship between the MC and his main wife is adorable.

It's not some masterpiece but it's a really entertaining read. Binged it in like 3 days. <<less
