I finished the novel!

I'm giving it 5 stars. The MC, a rare weasel, omega and the ML, a black panther, dominant alpha, are absolutely lovable. I couldn't help but enjoy their story. The best part? There's no angst or major drama, making it a very satisfying read!

This is the kind of novel you should pick up if you read dark, twisted, toxic novels like Non zero sum, Booty work, Bad life, Barge in or Codename anastasia. It's good a story for when you just want to have a good night... more>> sleep — I'm not saying it's boring, it's just a simple, friends to lovers high school story.

The ML, Yoontae comes to a rural school searching for his first love, meets the MC, Jeongseo, and they become best friends and eventually lovers. It's cute, easy to read and very enjoyable.

You'll see a jealous ML, but he knows his boundaries.

About smut, there's a scene around chapters 91–92 and the actual smut (not detailed) in chapters 108 and 120.

When I read it before, the translation was very bad, but the current version is well-translated, making it readable !

I wrote this review on 17 October 2024, having read up to chapter 27. It was one of the most liked reviews which made me feel a little guilty because it wasn't a proper review.

However, the translation needs improvement. I'd give it 2 stars at best. The translator should consider hiring an editor to fix the grammar mistakes, pronouns, and name mistakes. It's so frustrating sometimes.

I'm wondering why the translator is profiting from someone else's work, especially when the translation quality is baaad. I'd rather spend my money on the original book than support the translator.

Also, try to support authors on Ridibooks instead of paying huge amounts to translators who are just using AI! I honestly feel so bad for Ridibooks authors. How is it fair that translators who rely on AI end up earning more than the actual writers? Come on, it's not like it takes them days to translate. Every chapter was locked behind paywalls anyway. Have some shame and support the real authors. <<less

this scan group is notorious for not fully unlocking or committing to full series. I want to leave a good review I want to be able to say hey you should read this but genuinely find the original. It’s easier and safer to just buy your own copy. However group aside. If you want a fairly decent, could use work on certain aspects cause Yoontae can be a little too forceful even though sweetboy some times which isn’t a flaw. The story from start to end plays on a singular... more>> note and honestly that’s not a bad thing it just can seem to lackluster for others.

read it, don’t read it. I’m just here to rant about the scan group not having valid reasoning on holding things hostage especially machine translated works and before anyone denies, well it’s certainly not being proof read enough to say otherwise. <<less

4.5/5... I actually didn't expect this to pull me in that I ended up finishing it until the end. The ML and MC are voth so cute! I also love how the ML knows boundaries. Even though he is jealous, he doesn't stop the MC talk to other guys; he values the MC's happiness above all; he also doesn't force his feelings to the MC, giving him time to realize what he feels. The side characters are also so kind!

To sum it all up, It was a nice fluffy story.... more>> The ML, MC, and even the side characters are likeable. <<less

Teenage romance story that opens in the 2nd year of high school and closes in the main couple’s 1st year of college. Alpha x omega pairing, no frustrating misunderstandings or dragged out melodrama. I like that the omega here is an adorable but feisty little critter that doesn’t allow anyone to bully him and there’s no need for his alpha to come to the rescue. But I’m slightly disappointed the epilogue doesn’t time skip to show the couple in the future and fluffy babies but it’s alright.

Very cute and wholesome! I spent most of the novel feeling like I would be going "kya~~~" if I was in an anime :v The angst was pretty mild, but I think it added some emotional depth since a completely fluffy book would be kinda annoying.

The MC is the sunshine type. He's straightforward and bright. He's not very smart, but thankfully he isn't s*upid. The ML is... like the wholesome high-school version of a domineering CEO... with a side of gap moe. They're both green flags! The ML is very... more>> possessive, but he manages to control it. The MC is kinda dense, but I think it's a realistic kind of dense! He's not s*upid, so he figures out his emotions reasonably quickly.

Most of the side characters don't get much attention, but I really appreciate the ones that do! The MC's 2nd friend is possibly my favorite character, haha. Also, the MC's relationship with his family is precious.

I wouldn't say this novel is anything deep since it's a bit cliche, but I think the author handled everything quite well. It's not a masterpiece of a novel, but it was really fun to read. The animal shifter parts are cute.

Ah, the TL is probably MTL since gender and names were mixed up sometimes. Readable but mildly annoying :P <<less

I really enjoyed reading this novel it was very cute and fun! It's pretty relaxing and not too dramatic, just a sweet high school/college romance. Both characters are well thought-out. I especially like the MC where he's sweet and kind, but he's not afraid to stand up for himself if someone bothers him too much. I also like the ML where he is possessive, but also understands his boundaries and doesn't take things too far.

At first, this novel seemed pretty similar to another I read (I Like Your Pheromones), but... more>> their relationship dynamic turned out different from what I was expecting and I enjoyed their development.

It's just a light, fluffy novel with very few dramatic or angsty moments. <<less

I think this is a relatively wholesome and cute novel! It’s a good relaxed read and doesn’t have too much drama. The translation is pretty average when it comes to bl novels. Some pronouns are swapped or some names are wrong and sometimes they just replace the word ‘rat’ with ‘mouse’, which is a little confusing. They used ‘mouseher’ instead of ‘rather’ a few times lol.

the characters are cute, the MC is sometimes s*upid oblivious and the ML is sometimes s*upid possessive, but it works out ultimately in the story.

Honestly I only read this story when I didnt feel like reading something more plot heavy. Don’t expect too much since it’s pretty much a slice of life. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.

my actual rating would probably be a 3.5 <<less
