At first I was surprised why the score was low despite having no written reviews. I decided to give this novel a try.

Now I can understand why the rating is very low. The story is too short for there to be a decent plot. It's very cliché because it's so short. The author wasn't really able to build an engaging plot because it's too short. The author's way of writing is very simple. Personally, I feel that the time skip was too quick to really give life to the characters.... more>> There's also a really really lack of build up.

So, would I recommend it? Not really unless you want a quick novel to read. <<less

DON'T READ THIS STORY

I don't recommend anyone to read this thing. It is just disgusting. No the plot is fine, it is intersting, but the way author try to reveal the truth is just.. Disgusting. I don't really understand why I say this but yeah that is just how it feel. Myb bcs I expect a lil bit too much but seems like author did write a good starter plot but then the plot wss written terribly. Feels like author take the expectations from a good story and... more>> destroy it, smash it on the ground and make it umm.. Shitty one. Okay it does look cute etc but yeah. I just felt disgusted. Personally I'm unable to continue further than chapter 4, the story is absolutely interesting however the way it written wasn't really nice to follow. Instead of reading a novel, I feel like I was reading the kinda of shoujo manga for younger teen, the vibe is too familiar. The story weren't build up, no details situation, no development for character, there is even no further description to introduce the character or story.

Well anyhow if you look for any light read, it might quite nice to try and read it.

Ok, the story is bad, but not that bad. There's worse novels out there. It's short, bittersweet, has a cute ending. Could it be better? Have more depth? Have a better flow? Close some loose ends? Sprinkle some revenge? Yes, but I just wanted to read something easy and cute. Sometimes I want to loose some brain cells.

The story is fine for what it is, but the pacing tends to trip over itself. The main issue here is, essentially, timing. Either the story moves too fast (glosses over events that should have more screen time/weight) or too slow (focuses on minor scenes too often and repeats some feelings/ideas ad nauseam) ; characters are developed decently (the protagonist and the prince, surprisingly, but really only when he is a young boy) or just don't even make sense (the sister... kinda cam outta left field). I can see what... more>> the author was trying to get at--a repeated timeline story with a more melancholic/"adult" or mature tone--but the only emotion the author is able to portray is depression from a broken heart. Other emotions, like frustration or acceptance, aren't given the same quality of writing. It's a shame! 30 chapters doesn't sound like a lot, but you could achieve much more than what was presented here.

It's fine for a light, short read. Maybe if you're killing time on transit. <<less

for what this is it's fine. It s a cute little story that's well translated. Do I wish it was longer and went into more depth? 100% but for what it was I thought it was a interesting little story and I don't regret reading it. So I would score this a 2.5-3 since there's very little substance but was entertaining enough
