It's an okay read. Overall, I'd say go for it if you don't care about plot too much and just want to read silly comedy with some fluff.

This is really funny - judging from other reviews, perhaps I should point out that this is essentially a genre/trope parody comedy filled with nonsensical things exaggerated from bad writing cliches; everyone walking around on set seems to have about five brain holes, and the world itself is even more broken. This is a dramatic caricature of the Mary Sue and other stereotypes, and I think it's really well written. The characters are ridiculous but likeable, and the plot is absurd and unpredictable. It feels like something a group of... more>> college students made up playing a writing/roleplaying game while drunk, while their one sober friend on typing duty reformed it into a coherent story. It's the kind of slapstick I'd love to see on stage in a pantomime where the protagonists go off to the side of the stage for a dramatic spotlit inner monologue mid conversation before continuing the dialogue with a straight face. Please read if you like Saiki K. <<less

I get it, it's poking fun Mary Sue a bit but idk whether it's because of language differences or I just don't get the humour. I gave it a two because I couldn't stomach it after the first chapter and it's not fair if I give it a 1 after only reading the first chap. But hey, if you have a higher tolerance for these archetypes then go for it.

I'm sorry but the plot grew super nonsensical and things just kept happening that strayed very far from what the novel originally began as. There's only so much "suspension of disbelief" that can be held before too much overwhelms it and this novel is an example of that. I had to stop reading cause
