Tried reading this, but it's pretty bad. It's an apocalypse scenario and the MC has to rescue his classmates, except he's a sociopath who pretty much instantly forms a grudge with anyone who doesn't follow his every command. It reads like poor fanfiction and the MC is the ultimate Gary Stu self-insert.

Watch Jenny Nicholson's video on the terrible novel 'trigger warning', this book reads like a Chinese version of the same story.

The first released teaser part is definitely good in getting me interested. The MC is not a sociopath, nor does he form grudges with anyone who does not directly his orders. It is quite clear from the very start that this will be an OP MC novel (just read the description and you already know...).

It reads well and the actions are well depicted and mostly logical. There are only a few things, like his female classmate that awakens a super-power being ret*rded (because she cannot cope with the changes and... more>> turns to typical chinese arrogance), that can be a bit annoying.

I liked it and would recommend giving it a chance (when it gets continued, as 40 chaps are just too short). <<less
