One day, a middle-aged man who unexpectedly reincarnates into another world ponders an idea.

An idle game.

In the busy modern society, it is a game system that allows one to easily and quickly become strong.

But what if this game theory were to be brought into another world?

This is a story about a young boy who aims to create an “efficient idle game” while struggling with the differences between games and reality. Unbeknownst to him (and even himself), he ends up saving the world from crisis and even starts playing an idle game against the Demon Lord.

i like this one. It could be a gem; emphasis on could.

even giving it a 2 is already very, very, very genorous on my part. So what gives? Well, it's the grammar.

no, not grammar of the raw (idk japanese enough for that), but the "translated/edited" version of what we're reading here is the problem.

... more>> it is mentally exhausting on how many times I had to correct the grammar in my head that it's depleting my mentals faster than I anticipated.

[**edit: I think I was deluded into thinking this was actually an edit, and now correctly think that this was just an MTL that was polished a bit and patted themselves (idk if solo or group) on the back and called themselves "editor" and called it a day. My points below now makes more sense because of this MTL revelation]

my biggest gripe (s) with grammar battle are that the MC changed names I think 2-3 times, second is the increasing difficulty on identifying on who is currently talking, in conjuction with non-existent cues if the speaker is doing this with their internal monologue or external.

and maybe last but not the least atrocity of them all is the simultaneous 1st & 3rd person sentence structure that I thought everyone talking were suddenly schizophrenic and a company of 2 was increased to 3-4 people. And this is with the boastful/prideful addition of plastering the "editor" all over the place; which somehow included the "author" beside it when this is clearly a translation - now that's an ego check if i've ever seen one

but I digress, and through my generosity and all the valid criticisms pointed out, I still bide by my opinion of this being a (niche) gem if this was cleaned up by an actual editor, I could give this a 3 or 4stars (no.5 in between necessary) <<less

I really like this novel because it's quite interesting and such.

The only thing that I gave this a 3 is because of the translation.

It was fine in the earlier parts but it gotten worse up to the latest chapter.

... more>> In the earlier part, there are only less corrections needed while in the latest part, it's like its straight up MTL with no editing.

It's really annoying that there are some repeated paragraphs and names of the characters that keeps on changing... especially the MCs name... Also the use of pronounce is sometimes in shambles...

The story is mostly in MCs perspective but because of the improper use of pronounce it gets messy...

It's like the translator didn't read the novel after translating... They can also ask their readers for corrections since there are a lot of them who is willing to comment the errors and corrections, then the translator or MTLs only needs to edit the work to make it better. <<less

It's just a nice and easy adventure novel. Every volume is about 20 chapters and has Sieg going to a new place to level up. Despite saying he's trying to create an idle game out of the world, he is very actively involved in his own leveling and the author regularly skips time when they are monotonously grinding. Overall there isn't a lot of drama in the plot as the main characters are so OP by the 3rd volume, so it ends up being a chill story of 2 people... more>> going out and ruining the monster's ecosystems before moving to the next one. <<less

Basically an idle game dev. Reincarnated, and tries to make magic similar to an idle game, so he just summons puppets in the form of a human and wolves and let them kill monsters so he can level up doing nothing, just like an idle game. He said he will head to a dungeon in the future to farm exp and power lvl but I hadn't got up to that. Oh right the world has lvl's and skills, different from magic, but it also has magic.

I got to the chapter... more>> where her female friend is lost in the forest and he goes looking for her in abandon and summons lots of wolf puppets and I wasn't able to take it. Too bad its not my cup of tea. Very interesting premise tho. <<less
