Rid Baldia, the son of a margrave, suddenly regains the memories of his past life and realizes that the world he lives in greatly resembles the otome game universe of “Fluttery Cinderella”, or “Flutterella” for short.

And it turns out that Rid is a crony bit player that’s supposed to take the side of a villainess. And what’s more, he remembers that the fate awaiting him for partaking in evil deeds is to be purged, exiled, and condemned alongside the villainess.

And so began the days of Rid Baldia employing the memories of his past life to struggle(mow) his way through this utterly completionist otome game world to have a shot at a decent life.

The novel itself is between 3-4 stars, but the translation makes it almost unreadable. We are talking about sentence structure that will make Yoda look normal, word choice that leaves you questioning 'what just happened', a female characters with male pronouns 'he/him' and several other problems that would take a hour at least to list them all.

Beyond that anyone who has read from this translator's website would know how greedy and annoying they are. If you use 'next chapter' even if it is available on their website, it'll still send... more>> you to patreon where you need to pay to read it. There are constant pop-ups and reminders to 'donate' as well.

The story itself is basic, but enjoyable if you can get past the bad translation. We have MC who takes over the body of someone who is only ever mentioned once in the main story of an otome game, but you can further delve in the free mode as a characters that has aptitude for all elements of magic.

Due to /spoiler/, the character ends up as a part of the main story's villainess group which would result in a series of possible bad endings.

Now in the 6 years old body of said character, MC tries to prepare for the future he knows of while taking actions to change the situation in his family that has deteriorated due to /spoiler/.

He uses some of the knowledge he obtained from watching videos on the internet to create a product with the intent to earn money, in case he needs to escape later on. I don't know why he didn't just think of not joining the villainess' group in the first place, but all I can say is 'Japanese'.

There is little worldbuilding up to this point with us only knowing some things about the MC's nation as well as 2 others, a bit about their relationship, very basic idea of how MC's country is viewed from the outside and a bit about the magical aspect of the world, 'everyone can train to posses magical abilities'... <<less

It's typical Japanese Isekai. Translation is bad. I am not talking abt grammar. Even basic designations are contradictory. In c13, they mention their family peerage as Count, then Margrave.

As of now it's bland. Let's see how the story unfolds.

c15-2) now they are mistaking the noun itself. Wasn't it supposed to be joint development of Reinar and chris?

Read till V2 prologue. Translation improved. The story seems ok. But Progress is slow. Author picks up trait, but doesn't seem to delve or explore that trait much. Be it his previous memories, or... more>> magic etc. It's ok read if u got time and nothing much to do. For now going to put it on hold. <<less
