I haven't found one good thing to say, but I have a lot of bad to say. Left rating as 3 and not 2 because maybe it can get better. Mc/author talks like no reader has ever played a game or read any novel with VR.

The game itself is tr*sh objectively. Its basically pay to win, but to win you need to pay up 50K to have any advantage. Leveling up is a long grind and the game doesn't have equipment for everyone with terrible drop rates. Getting a item... more>> that gives 1 point in Strength or Speed is equal to winning the lottery according to the MC. Having actual good equipment is proof you are either rich or lucky, not skilled or hard working.

It's only appeal to any player I can see is getting more time to live with the time difference and exploring. If any new game came along that had the above, but just allowed players to become super human with high stats and readily available equipment this game Circuit would tank. <<less

I am a big fan of the idea of an MC who while still lucky in getting treasures resolves not to rely on them heavily. I like the aspect of the NPCs in the game being more than just background characters. They can be friends, lovers, enemies. They think independently. They can face heartbreak, sorrow, racism, classism and more.

The power levels are extremely inconsistent. One moment the story tells us, that an equipment, that gives +1 stat is a treasure, the next moment you see him putting on an armor set with a set bonus that gives stats in the double digits and later on he's on legendary armor with immense stats, but is still relatively weak against the horde of enemies that he's raiding with his friends, who have 1 rare item alltogether. I'd say this is pretty decent.

The main character has some actual development along the way. The game isn't built in a way where the MC gets an item and just becomes too op right at lvl1. We use hypocrisy to avoid looking at our shortcomings and figure out our part in it. It typically stems from a sincere belief that we should not be held to the same standards as others because we have better intentions. Our belief is juster, nobler, and sincerer. It feels good to be morally superior to someone else.

The story structure, the plot, the build, everything about that so-called "VIRTUAL WORLD" was BS.

If you ever wanted to find a decent MC, this is not your novel, because the plot armor is like everything. You know it upon you read the novel name. LUCK! It's plot armor.

And the virtual world, he's using everything he gets from that world to kill off that world.

This novel would have been better if it was about dunggeons or portal to another world opening. The virtual game setting makes it quite disturbing because the NPC have too much personnality and emotions.
