The entire story is just Shang Zhuoxi being this totally evil villain who ruins An Chujie in so many ways and manipulates her at every turn but you're still expected to somehow like or pity her. I can't stand her behavior and how she tries to justify herself. An Chujie doesn't make it any better by falling for her bullsh*t again and again so it's very frustrating to read. And even after everything that happens at the final chapter An Chujie still comes running back to her even after basically ESCAPING THE f*ckING COUNTRY TO ESCAPE HER.
