All I can say is the book is getting better and better, this is the new novel of the author chaos who have written charm of soul pets and versatile mage, the story at the start may puzzle you but you will know what happened after 100 chapters, the story is awesome and definitely worth a five star in my opinion, looking forward to story development

A obnoxious MC who is worse than a hypocrite is made to look like a charming hero and the only good male worthy to be a righteous god.

Ugh, not to mention the way author went with harem is just sickening.. first he teases about the sister-in-laws.. but distancing it by saying it's family and not morally right... (that mean you should stop it u f**k)

Nope, they are harem... it's a subtle in*est.. cause the MC goes through the thought " isn't is more thrilling cause it is wrong?"

Anyway, the... more>> world building is like game levels... typical old style xianxia... nothing thrilling.

Arrogant young masters... well every male is either an enemy, accomplice of an enemy, or a an enemy turned s*ave that gets bullied and humiliated to "exemplify" MC's alpha'ness.

Every female... other than his mother (thank God) is teased with romance with MC (even his supposed aunt) or directly had romantical complications.

For the starting half mc's power is quite reasonable and his op acceptable.. but once in the divine continent forget any progression.. even though he lacks the power he gets the highest authority under heaven so a perfect armour to make MC kill anyone or anything.

The only interesting is that it has pets and training, so only read if you want some beast pets novel. <<less

it was one of my initial chinese novels so maybe I liked it a lot because of that but even otherwise I like it a lot. I came to read this because of versatile mage.

the idea of becoming a coccon for evolving to a superior life form fascinates me. Most MC's learn various techniques, then they become strong and learn even more techniques, sometimes they abandon the old ones and sometimes the technique becomes stronger with them. But anyways in the later part of the story I can't even tell... more>> if the move is new or old, only with the name I might be able to judge how formidable it is. But I like such unique magical phenomenon.

it is a very lovely novel, although it is a pity it is only in MTL, it gets really irritating sometimes. MC's name gets translated to "I wish you a bright future". I still held to this novel, I haven't dropped it or anything I am just waiting for a 1000 or something chapters to be released then I will read it. <<less

The world and plot in this book is pretty interesting, but I had ended up dropping it as many of the characters are contradictory, and many new elements are suddenly introduced, which is usually a good thing, but not for this case.

I liked this novel. For all the flaws that it has, it does a great job of making the reader excited when the MC tames a new dragon or sources for rare materials to level up his dragons. The romance portion is a bit scuffed, but it is technically a harem with quadruplet siblings, with ... more>>

two souls inside two bodies, so 2 x 2 = 4. There is one sister who is the main FL, but he pretty much ends up with all of them at the end.

It does suffer from some of the tropes that other xuanhuan Chinese novels catered to male readers all have, but I would say that the flaws don't overwhelm the things it does well.

My main issue with this novel was that the ending was seriously terrible, and reminds me of some of the other Chinese male-oriented web novels that I have read.

After a time skip, the MC wakes up again in a higher realm. Some time has passed since he overwhelmed the previous big boss in the previous arc, and his dragons have all scattered to all parts. It's honestly not a very original or new development, but it had potential. We want to see him gathering his dragons back and actually finding out some of the mysteries of the heavens in the novel.

But nope, the author decided to pull a Chen Dong. The number of updates fell from twice daily, to once a week, to once a month. After desperately trying to keep up with the updates, the author decides to end it at a point where 1) we have no clue what the heavens really are and more importantly 2) he hasn't gotten all his dragons back. We have no f*cking clue where some of them are, or what some of them have been up to. All the potential that this new world is gone because the author is too unmotivated to update it.

Reminds you of Perfect World right?
