Trapped in an adult-rated romance fantasy.

But the problem is, this novel is an apocalyptic survival story set during an Ice Age.

And the bigger problem is, in this story, even the protagonists can’t find the so-called “Final Paradise,” the last hope, leading to a frozen death ending, known as

“Frozen Ending,” XX.

I can’t just watch this kind of annihilation ending unfold.

I will definitely find the ‘Last Paradise’ and return home!

“If you know you’re helpless, consider becoming a human heater.”

So there I was, stuck with male candidates, being treated like a burden…

[You have awakened as a Hidden Class.] [Please ring the bell of love in this world’s bitter cold.] I gained an ability.

An ability so coveted, to be able to thaw anyone in this frozen world, the ability to save anyone.

“Your worries have turned my hair gray.”

“From now on, I will only follow you now, and if you tell me to die, I will die….”

Moreover, it seems all the male leads she accidentally picked up are far from normal…

Will she be able to survive this frozen apocalypse and return to the original world?

Status: Completed
I almost dropped this just from reading that description and I already finished the novel... no actually, what the heck is going on. Here's a rant on the cover picture: It's not a spoiler but I can compress the text this way :) ... more>>
Spoiler

Those "male leads" on the cover picture... I deleted my long rant to summarize: If you read the novel, you'd understand why that cover image is complete bullshit. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Our 2nd main character isn't even drawn on the cover! I want to smack whoever put this together.

There is an image on kakao page of our main characters in a car. THAT is the correct cover image. Snowy background, red convertible with 3 passengers. Our 1st MC, a female with black hair/eyes wearing a green sweater and pointing a gun outside, in the passenger seat. Driving is our 2nd MC, male with silver hair/eyes wearing a large white winter coat with a scar across his nose. Lastly, in the back seat, is a small and happy black-haired kid holding a bell.

Oh I forgot to review it.

I read the raws and translated myself, I loved this! Dale (our silver-haired man) is hilarious, he was the former colonel in the imperial army before the world fell, he has great fighting skills but he's also a lovable a**hole. No fr, he's really annoying sometimes, he shows older sibling behavior that makes you wanna kick him into a hole. But his flirting is delectable lmao. He isn't featured in the cover picture since -read the rant- but he's our second main character. You'll love him.

Intro: Eunwoo suddenly landed in a snow field, in winter, with a dying person next to her... haha not so funny. She calls for help on the radio and finds herself in more danger.

This world was full of magic, everyone could use it for daily life, jobs, and even war. Warring with mages is catastrophic and avoided, but it's inevitable in a world with magic. One day, all magic disappeared. It was as if all the mana in the kingdom vanished. Mass panic, mass confusion, and then the harshest, most unbelievable winter struck and threw the kingdom into an apocalyptic meltdown. Laws, security, morality, everything crashed down and became a dirty free-for-all, the strong fought to survive, and the weak died miserably.

Hmmm what should I write? I usually leave spoilers since I like spoilers... I suppose I can do that. I don't feel like filtering so whatever the title of the spoiler is, is what you'll get. Don't read what won't make the novel fun to read.

Belle.
Spoiler

Our main character, our Belle, our Eunwoo.

Light spoiler. Eunwoo arrived in the new world disoriented and very insecure, so she latched onto Dale, the first reliable and good person she met. She couldn't say "I'm Eunwoo" because the foreign name may reveal unwanted info so she became Belle, Belle the bell fairy. Apparently, the system gave her the bell fairy power... haha what in the magic-girl-nonsense influenced god to create that.

-

Medium spoiler. The bell fairy power grants Belle the power to create what she needs to survive. A down coat, guns and ammo, food supplies, etc. Belle can make infinite copies of objects, she needs the original object though, she cannot create from memory. She levels up the power by completing tasks given by the system. The experience points work with vitality as well, killing will greatly increase bell fairy exp, but will also increase self-hatred points.

-

Heavy spoiler. The final level of the bell fairy system can grant wishes based on vitality points collected.

-

Atomic spoiler. Eunwoo was brought into this world by herself from another timeline. Let me explain. Han-na from an alternate dimension to Eunwoo, was a brilliant researcher studying dimensional travel. After sneaking into the lab one night and programming the dimensional transport, she hopped dimensions. Smelling the unfamiliar grass of a new world, and drinking foreign water from a stream, it was surreal that became so real when the device would not take her back to her dimension, and a god-like system appeared to give her quests... Wow, she was devastated but did her best to complete quests and repair the device... 1st life, fail and repeat, 2nd life, fail and repeat, 3rd life, fail and repeat... "aha ahhaaha AHAHAHHAAH going crazy, how can her life always reset to the point when she first landed? She can't leave! She can't escape! She can't even- ouch! Huh? The device just repaired a bit with... my blood? Does it need vitality? Can I.. give it vitality? Aha AHAHAHA Lets try it!" Was her thought process to slaughter everyone so she could power the device and go home. This alternate timeline Eunwoo, Han-na.

I'll give more details on that in the 'cave' spoiler. Basically, Han-na was playing with dimensional travel to go home and pulled in Eunwoo to have her farm more vitality points aka a mu*derfest. And replace Han-na's existence to free her so she can finally go home.

Male lead.
Spoiler

Dale.

Silver hair, silver eyes (I think?), strong tall physique, horizontal scar across his nose, and one hell of a personailty.

Think strong warm older brother, but like someone's older brother is trying to seduce you. Silly flirty pranks, warm support, protective but 'okay try it dummy, and see if what happens is exactly what I said would happen', strong enough to turn to for help, but also someone you want to kick in a hole sometimes.

He picks up Belle in the beginning and travels with her until the novel's end. Protects Belle, flirts with her, gets help from her, and decides to kidnap her at a few points lol. She's like a portable life-support with her ability in the apocalypse.

Dale was written so sexy that I went to find the author's other novels to see if they carried this sexy personality trend with their other male leads hahahaha.

Ah, Dale is the former Colonel from the army before the kingdom fell apart. He doesn't show his authority, he even hid his identity since he was famous, but his skills are all present and alert. And he is incredibly resourceful and a strong reliable partner for Belle.

I don't even remember the other two men on the cover image here, the black hair with red is Aaron, but he's our baby and not a male lead. The other two I think showed up for like a 5-10 chapters and quit. The novel is centered on Belle, Dale, and Aaron.

Aaron.
Spoiler

Lets go strong from the start since I want to wrap this up.

Test-subject 9, subjects 9-1 and 9-2 make up the being, named by Belle, Aaron.

Woah woah woah that's a little fast isn't it? Yes it is, but we aren't done. You'll need to know about the purpose, the reason test-subjects were created. To break into the cave. More about the 'cave' is in it's own spoiler. not here.

When Belle and Dave entered an abandoned prison looking for supplies, Belle fell through the floor of the head warden's office and entered a hidden dungeon, where skeletons, rotten dead people, chains, torture tools.. you name it, it was shady. In one room, was a small boy with black hair, looked about 5 years old. Clearly, Belle took him out, named him Aaron, and the 3 of them traveled together.

After traveling for some time it became clear that Aaron was the test-subject 'Paradise' was searching for. Running and hiding, eventually Aaron was pushed to the edge of desperation to save Belle and Dale. Aaron stopped resisting and gave control to the other being inside him and slept.

Dun Dun Dunnnnn awakening 9-2! Also known as Nathan (yes Belle named him). Nathan grew Aaron's body from a chubby 5 year old to an adult size, matching Dale's height. He also was much stronger and had the strength and magic to protect Belle and Dale. Aaron's black hair sprouted red strands here and there...

Um I kinda don't know what else to put. Basically, the experiment was to take two souls and let them live in one body, all other test-subjects died. Nathan was a red-haired baby, 9-2, and Aaron had black hair and was about 3 years old, 9-1. Belle thought Nathan was an adult scamming her baby Aaron's body from him, she got sad when she found out Nathan was younger than Aaron.

Paradise.
Spoiler

The beautiful safe-haven for everyone to dream of reaching... Yeah it's uglier than you'd think.

Let's do some background. This is a world with magic. In the kingdom, deep inside a forest was a cave that had no mana around it. This was reported to the government. In the kingdom, inside a certain forest there was no mana, this was reported to the government. In the kingdom, there was a place with no mana... this was reported... to the government? Hold up. Is the no mana zone growing larger? Oh shi-

The king finally sent investigators and found that within the 'no mana' area, the mana was actually just pulled in the direction of the cave and gathering inside... wait what? shi-

The king sent the strongest wizards to destroy the cave and free the magic... nothing could penetrate the forcefield surrounding the cave. Researchers began experiments to create a stronger wizard to destroy the cave while others thought about how to prevent the suction of all nearby mana. A giant mana stone could absorb much of the mana pulled into the cave and could slow the rate at which mana is collected. But no one could enter or scratch the cave.

The king read the reports, thought long and hard, and decided to use the mana accumulated by the cave to make a floating fortress and call it Paradise! It will be amazing! The king stopped the wizards from attacking the cave and dismissed the research team from creating a new wizard. There was no need to continue. The king worked fast on his flying paradise, it was finished not long after and everything floated up!

Just imagine. Everyone, quite literally everyone, is in search of this paradise created in preparation for the apocalypse. Do you think after everyone arrives it'll still be paradise for everyone? Of course not. It's paradise for a few, while they leave behind others to suffer their share. Paradise was never open to the general public, it was created for the important people, aka the rich nobles.

So in reality, Paradise was built by a greedy corrupt ('I'm the king yippee') dumbass, who took a deadly problem he ignored until it grew to where it couldn't be solved and decided... to float it in the sky and treat it as a levitation battery for his supreme paradise!

What an idiot.

What was the unsolvable problem that devasted the kingdom and started the apocalypse? The Cave.

So while all the nobles in paradise are forgetting the apocalypse troubles and living with the warm spring weather in the sky, the harsh endless winter is killing off all their citizens.

The cave.
Spoiler

So this is actually where the largest plot point in this novel is located.

Let's do some background. Read the Paradise spoiler first, I think it's funny and true. It'll explain the first appearance of the cave and the kingdom's reaction to it.

Okay welcome back, the cave seems to pull all mana towards it and stores it inside right? Why would that be? Read the Atomic Spoiler from the Belle Spoiler first to learn about Han-na.

-

-

Welcome back part 2 haha. Alright, we are up to speed correct? We know about the cave pulling in mana, and about dimension traveller Han-na's desperation. Time to make a sandwich.

During the life where Han-na collected vitality to unlock most of her abilities, she hatched an idea to pull other Han-na's, other 'her''s from parallel dimensions to support her escape from this dimension. Han-na found a secluded cave deep inside a forest and set up a barrier around the cave, she used an artifact to pull in mana and walked deep inside the cave to begin her work. She pulled objects and trinkets and junk from the dimensional rifts she opened, searching for the right 'her' to pull through. Then she found Eunwoo, and wrote a novel about this world. Han-na had lived multiple lives here and wrote the most helpful and notable individuals into a fun novel as a guide for Eunwoo to follow. Once Eunwoo finished the novel, Han-na pulled her across.

Eunwoo was sent to an alternate dimension of where Han-na was, the dimension gap could be crossed in the cave, however, currently they both are in different dimensions. Han-na used her strength to meddle with the system and sent quests to Eunwoo to increase vitality points. Eunwoo sought to earn vitality points credibly through goodwill and not through mu*der.

When Eunwoo entered the cave and saw Han-na, she saw someone who looked exactly like herself, with red shackles on her wrists and ankles binding her to the ground. Those shackles were created when the self-hatred points went past a certain level... Han-na did not realize, no, she couldn't see the shackles tying her down.

Yada yada yada Eunwoo solves Han-na and the magic is released from the cave. It'll take time to heal the kingdom, but paradise is descending slowly after losing it's power source... so the whiny king will have to work again.
