I FEELED CHEATED!!! The summery said ‘sweet campus romance’ so I went for it. This novel indeed has ‘sweet’ times but the tension between the MC and ML before they started their relationship is a bit frustrating, for me.

MC is a cry baby, a princess, a young master, it seems to me though out the whole novel, MC never really had a character development. He’s always clumsy and got injured a lot. Because of that ML has to delay his work and rest.

ML has a sick grandma to take care of so he works all the time and only sleep for 3 hours a day. When he meets MC, it was like the author trow a cry baby for ML to take care of. The MC did lessened the ML’s loneliness by being there but ML also has to take care of the pampered young master.

MC dose have some good points, one of them being good looking lol. However, the author did not manage to develop his character well enough. Same goes for the ML.

Considering the fact they are still teenagers, it’s somewhat realistic. The only thing is the characters still the same though out the whole story.

Anyways, after they confirmed the relationship and had some ‘sweet’ time. They were found out by the school. Someone that like MC’s ex got jealous and separated the pics. MC’s face was exposed but ML was not. So MC protected him. At this point, their parents also found out.

MC is very timid, after hearing some words form ML’s scum dad and their relationship was over.

I was so upset I wanted to drop it immediately.

Then, some years later they reunited. ML has a child with his wife. At this point, I just scroll randomly. I don’t know who the mother was or if the child was ML’s. Later, they got back together. The End.

Also in first few chapters the author wrote that MC saw ML kissing a boy and got curious but later it become the ML was kissed forcefully. In my opinion it doesn’t make sense because MC was captivated by ML’s appearance during kissing someone, not someone kissing ML suddenly. So it’s not very consistent with early chapters.

PS: I was looking for something fluffy because I was feeling down. So this review might be a bit biased so I give it a 4. But actually it’s like a 3 or 3.5 lmao.

As the translator said, this is actually quite the roller-coaster ride! Like wth it was so sweet at first?!?! The whole campus story? And falling in love??? So nice??? And the ML spoiling the MC when he’s throwing a tantrum?????!! Ahhh

AND THEN EVERYTHING WENT DOWNHILL my heart was NOT prepared...

7 years!! 7 fckn years!!!! ahdksjsk (つД`) ノ ahhh the regrets! All the time that they were apart, but could have spent together... my heart is broken... bc ppl are discriminating against others... oh my heart

So yeah, meeting again after 7 years, letting the ML see, that it is not bc MC gave up, but bc of other influences, that they broke up!! My heart! And the MC grew up so muchhhhh ahhhhh

I really love this novel. Finished read part 1 and 2 (by original novel). All new to me. Not like other BL school novel. After 7 years not seeing each other, they still have the same feeling❤️

Luo: as MC: shou : cute clean freak, bad health all year around, young master but in the end he is not Luo Young master.

Yu: as ML : gong: handsome, smart, poor, working hard make money for his grandma medical treatment, actually he has rich father who abandoned him.

If you want "This is an innocent, sweet campus story" better stopped reading after chapter 89, the headache after those chapter until 110 is honestly not worth it.

I strongly believe that the problem that occurred could have been handled differently and who tf listen to a scum deadbeat dad.

I feel cheated and robbed

GOOD POINTS: ML is a sweetheart, he's attentive, protective and loveable

Okay, there might be something unrealistic here but I think the story itself is not bad. And yeah, don't be fooled by the word 'sweet campus story' T v T). The first half is indeed really sweet and fluffy but the second half made me cry a lot. I'm glad it's a good happy ending.

I kinda like the twist and turn of the story. The growth of MC's mom later is also good. I also wanna know how that Guan Nian guy will end up. If he... more>> became another shou then how will Guan Shuofeng react to this. But what the story hasn't told is whose child is the MC. <<less

As the previous review said, even if it said "innocent, sweet campus story" it's quite in the heavy part. So much happened lol. I'm actually a bit frustrated by the MC's character... he's just there to annoy the ML. Lol. I also don't feel much about the ML. Anyway, I don't think there's much character progression on this, maybe there are but only a little. I guess it's understandable because they're still kids at this point, and changed on the latter part. But still, I don't know. Not really my... more>> cup of tea. There are some parts I did like. But my journey of reading this was unbearable. I wanted to finish it since I already started it, lol.

So yeah, don't be fooled with what the summary said. What innocent? What sweet? Ha ha. If you're into lots of drama happening, then this is for you.

I would personally rate it a 4/5 or lower but I'll just put 5 for the effort to translate this somewhat frustrating novel to read lol (+ they look good in the manhua lol.) <<less

In a light word, it's a bittersweet story with ups and downs, but ofc it has happy ending don't worry.

It's not an easy journey for them as the protagonist.

And it's not an easy journey for me as the reader too.

... more>> But still, their story engraved in my mind. Their life is vivid in my memories. And I love them so much.

Kudos for author to bring out such a love story that touch the deepest of my heart.

First, it seemed to me that they just put ML's brother as filler just to give the plot a little sense, since he hadn't appeared before, also his character did give me bipolar vibes, I don't know if it was because he only came out like 5 chapters and that's it. Second, I never found out why the MC's mother cheated on her husband, I think that plot was just to add drama, especially with the illegitimate son that came out at the end of the novel.
