After an accidental death, Qin Yunzhi transmigrates into a novel he once read, becoming the arch-nemesis of the story’s villain.

In the novel’s original ending, Qi Zhao went mad at the protagonists’ wedding and scarred the “Protagonist Shou’s” face, causing the latter to flee the country and meet a tragic end by being crushed by a falling rock.
