Federal Marshal Wen Baiche and Prosecutor Ji Linyun have been bitter rivals since their youth. During a twist of fate, Wen Baiche discovers a heavily injured Ji Linyun, who has lost all his memories.

Leaning down, Wen Baiche’s slender fingers cradle the back of the man’s head. With a slight tug, he exposes that pale, sharp chin. Ji Linyun’s hair is unexpectedly soft, and from this angle, his cold, chiseled features seem even more striking. The roses slip from Wen Baiche’s hand as he descends into madness. While the world congratulates him on his “triumph,” he storms into the federal prison, carving a path to those responsible for the plot. With a dark muzzle pressed against his own head, he kisses a brooch left behind by Ji Linyun and whispers, “I’m coming to join you.”

An explosion rocks the facility, reducing the prison to ashes.
