Ju family’s youngest daughter, Ju Ha-young:

Yeon family’s second son, Yeon Mu-eun:

“Would you prefer to die rather than be the daughter-in-law of the Yeon family?”

They held presumptions about each other based on the rumours they heard, giving rise to misunderstandings between them. In time, their feelings slowly changed for each other.

Can there be no smoke without fire? Ha-young could not understand the bad rumors surrounding her good-natured husband.

This is a good start and I hope the translator continues with this story (so please come back!). I really don’t know why other readers have given it low ratings so far based on only 2 chapters.

The language is smooth (always a sign of good translators hard work) and the premise is interesting (I’m thinking modern Romeo & Juliet with a twist 😉). And since this is the same author as Lucia I expect that the story and snusnu will be A+.

Ju and Yeon family is one of the prestigous families renowned by subjects in the Daejingu but the two families has been arch-enemy from generation to generation. They hurt each other so much with curses from families servants to gang fights whenever they met that only the hatred remained.

One day, there was a gang fight between the two separated enemy in the central marketplace. The big fight cause fire broke up which destroyed the marketplace even surrounding citizen houses

The king was so furious with the big fight of the two families and decided to sent Royal Degree of marriage to the youngest lady of Ju with the second master of Yeon, who surrounded with weird rumors

I was honestly expecting allot like it would be a couple bickering at each other at first and then turning to a lover but after reading the story it wasnt. Theres allot of stuffs unexplained and the focus of story in comparison to synopsis is different.

The love story is basically we fell in love after seeing and resolving the misunderstanding, and we show you how we struggle with Muens family issues that hes father is unknown to, the mother and bro. Favoritism and biases, how we manage to get away with it, now we got peaceful and loving family of 5 and then dang its finished! Very short.

It felt ended on a rush way by seperating themselves to Muens family just so no more sht of plots could be added bcs what the hell is the synopsis for? Like hoping the two family became chaotic at first but becoming at peace afterward and a great plot like its all been due to the other family for political shts BUT NOOO this is just my imagination runnung wild while reading the first few chaps expecting theres more to it but niether it has been tackled deeply, sad.
